What we offer

Our Commercial Management Trainee program offers a unique opportunity to unlock your full potential and develop yourself as a future leader in our commercial team. Learn about the food & bio industry and how we operate in a rapidly changing economic environment. You will perform activities related to sales increase as well as maintain relationships with assigned customers negotiating on products, terms and prices. You will also learn on market segments and trends to become a trusted advisor across different European markets and exploring new business opportunities developing sales strategies and identifying profitable solutions. You will join the business at the time of the commercial transformation and shift focus towards new objectives and projects, using the opportunity to stretch yourself.

As part of this traineeship, you will join our two-year Next Generation Graduate Program where you will collaborate with a diverse group of individuals from across EMEA, enriching each other while addressing business challenges. Together you will build first-class skills and a network that will benefit you throughout your career. As a participant in the program, you will:

  • Collaborate on projects with other trainees (in-person and virtually)

  • Join regular networking sessions with managers and peer groups

  • Benefit from individual and group coaching from current or former trainees

  • Participate in a highly engaging in-person Summit twice a year where you will interact with senior leaders and join learning sessions and personal development workshops

What we look for

Required qualifications

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in business studies: Business Administration, Economics, Agricultural Economics or Agricultural Engineering, Finance or related

  • Up to two years of professional experience (including Internship experience)

  • Fluency in English. Any other European languages will be considered an advantage.

  • Natural leadership ability, interpersonal, communication and selling skills

  • Ability to partner and work in a multi-cultural and multi-functional teams

  • High integrity and ethical standards

  • Self-starter; highly motivated and able to work independently. Willingness to take ownership and initiative

  • Curiosity to learn and create new way of building and improving systems and processes

  • Strong data and analytical skills, ability to proactively identify and resolve problems

  • Flexibility; able to cope with fast changes within a growing company

  • Willingness and flexibility to travel in case required

Selection process

The selection process is a discovery for both of us and starts with an introductory video interview with a recruiter. Followed by a video or in-person meeting with the team. The finalists will be invited to complete an online assessment and have an interview with the hiring manager. A business case study may be introduced as part of the process.
