Job location : Worcester

Working for Cargill’s European poultry business, which is a leading supplier of food products to retail, foods service and food manufacturing customers, in both European and global markets. The role will be situated at our newly opening Worcester offices.

The position holder will be responsible for the liaison and direct relationship contact with our external customers, handling sales orders, returns, credits and contract information. This role will provide exposure to a wide customer base and therefore the opportunity to develop strong positive customer relationships. It will also allow the opportunity to improve efficiencies in the customer service team. This role will also require weekend cover for one weekend a month.

Main Tasks:

  • Entering sales orders and raising outbounds in SAP for all orders received from customers and managing self-billing accounts

  • This role will be the face and voice of Cargill Protein Europe (CPE) for a variety of customers – dealing with day to day enquiries, keeping customers informed of deliveries and changes

  • Maintenance of data within the system

  • Sales contract entry, pricing updates, report preparation and updates for Cargill commercial teams

  • Resolving disputes, returns, credits and coordinating communication with our cold stores and customers

  • General administration, record keeping and filing for dispatch notes

  • Weekend team cover work, one weekend in three; processing customer sales orders placed at the weekend

  • Coordinating stock contingency and best before dates for product in our cold-stores

  • Stock movement and transfers for B grade product, and weekly wholesale product sales

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Education to A’ level or equivalent - essential

  • Effective and passionate about administrative tasks - essential

  • Keen attention to detail and highly numerate - essential

  • Highly motivated and able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, ensuring daily tasks are completed on time - essential

  • Experience of dealing with external customers with strong people and interpersonal skills - essential

  • Intermediate excel - essential

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal - essential

  • Knowledge of SAP or SAP based systems - desirable
