Position Purpose & Summary

CargillBusiness Services (CBS) is a global organization that envisages the accelerateduse of shared services. Its purpose is to bring a smarter, more efficientapproach to how we provide shared services to Cargill. That way business unitsand functions can focus on what they do best. Five functions are in scope - GHRS,Global IT, Finance, Transport & Logistics and Strategic Sourcing &Procurement. These services will bedelivered in 7 Centers based in Bangalore (India), Gurgaon (India), Sofia(Bulgaria), Nanjing (China), San Jose (Costa Rica), Uberlandia (Brazil) andRosario (Argentina) as well as a few satellite locations.

Sr. Continuous Improvement Specialist will be responsible to conduct CIactivities with high / medium project cost and risk and activities with lessdefined processes across multiple sites/locations within a BU/Function.Conducts activities related to the portfolio leadership, governance andcontrol; project execution, value realization and measurement; capability andculture development; business partnership, and stakeholder management; andpeople, talent and budget management

Principal Accountabilities

In conjunction with the CBS CI Lead, Function Leads and Global Teams,build a CI culture within the center and spoke.

  • 30% | Provide support and/or leadenterprise level continuous improvement projects in support of the operationalexcellence vision and strategy to improve quality.

  • 30% | Partner with business unitsand functions to identify and capture process optimization opportunities. Leads groups through the continuous improvement process for projectswith the medium cost and risk.

  • 10% | Stay abreast of keyindustry best practices related to shared-services operational capabilities,and ensure they are appropriately assimilated into the improvementinitiatives. Consult on the utilization of industry best practicesto Center and CBS leadership. Usescomprehensive knowledge and application of principles, concepts, industry bestpractices and standards.

  • 10% | Identifies problems, andapplies structured and disciplined methodology and data to identify and scoperoot causes, and execute continuous improvement projects with medium cost andrisk.

  • 10% | Uses comprehensive counselto lead groups to identify issues, incorporate best practices and identifysolutions across multiple sites/locations within a BU/Function.

  • 10% | Work aslocal Compliance Specialist for corporate driven compliance requirements forone CBS center. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: BusinessResiliency, RIM, User access and data privacy (e.g., Clean Desk, Awareness).

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’sDegree from an accredited college or university in business, finance,engineering, statistics, math, economics or equivalent experience.

  • Minimum5 years experience in driving Lean Six Sigma / Project Management across IT / ITES organization

  • Experienceleading multifunctional teams

  • Demonstratedsuccess working independently in a remote, global environment

  • Excellentcommunication skills (oral and written)

  • Demonstratedability to navigate ambiguity and establish process and structure

  • Goodworking Skills on MS Office
