Considered a subject matter expert in supplychain management and continuous improvement with extensive and deep knowledge,a supply chain continuous improvement analyst will gather information and translatethat into action to drive improvements in the supply chain and ultimatelybenefit our customers. Reportingdirectly to the regional supply chain manager, the supply chain continuousimprovement analyst will also act as an advisor to the regional and globalbusiness in executing a supply chain strategy. Key skills and capabilities include project management, lean six sigma,continuous improvement, core supply chain processes, and deep insight into thecustomer experience.

Principal Accountabilities:


  • Using continuous improvement tools, analyticalinsights, and influencing skills, identify, propose, defend, and implementsupply chain improvements and optimization opportunities

  • Implement, own, and facilitate the end to end customerquality index reporting and actions and turn customer quality index andon-time, in-full measurements into action and improvement

  • Independently acts as a strategic supply chainanalyst for a global, regional or multi-country team. This includes executionof centrally owned operational business processes, such as Integrated BusinessPlanning (CIBP), budget cycles, KPI reporting (key performance indicators) anddashboard reporting.

  • using strong influencing skills, drive otherteams in the business (both inside and outside the supply chain) to participateand improve supply chain processes and customer experience

  • Support standard weekly supply chain planningprocesses such as master production scheduling, demand planning, customersourcing, material requirements planning, and supply and demand reconciliationby developing tools and coaching behaviors


  • Works closely with the Supply Planning Lead todefine and develop the inventory strategy for a global, regional ormulti-country scope.

  • Participate in and facilitate Cargill IBP stepssuch as Demand Review, Financial Review and Integrated Reconciliation, SupplyReview, Product Management Review, and Management Business Review

  • Utilizing an extensive understanding of supplychain practices and procedures, reviews and monitors processes and ensures bestpractices are identified and shared between locations as well as effectiveutilization of Cargill’s Supply Chain Planning Playbooks, creation of processworkflow diagrams and RASCI schemes, and communicating best practices throughtrainings, workshops and documentation.


  • Develops, executes and implements more complexprojects and process improvements in the supply chain organization to drivecontinuous improvement to current excellence standards across the organization.

  • Utilizing an extensive understanding of supplychain practices and procedures, develops a strong understanding of customerneeds through building and maintaining internal and external relationships toprovide optimal service to Cargill’s customers and help the business meetstrategic and financial goals. Build relationships with external parties suchas consultants.

  • Analyzes and creates more complex demand,production, and sales reports to drive continuous improvement. Reviews reportscreated by more other members of the team.

  • Provides extensive supply chain knowledge andsubject matter expertise to integrate multiple areas in the Cargill supplychain such as customer service, supply chain planning, strategicsourcing/procurement, plant operations, and transportation & logistics(i.e. order, plan, source, make and deliver).

  • Facilitate and drive a continuous improvementculture


  • Utilizes extensive knowledge of supply chainpractices and procedures to navigate through data and technology challenges,upgrades and changes.

  • Analyzes and reviews scorecard and related KPIsfor at a regional and global level


Regularly provides informal coaching and/ortraining to supply chain analysts, including coaching Cargill core values. Maybe solicited for performance evaluation of colleagues.

Travel Requirements: 25% or less




  • University Degree

  • 8 years experience in supply chain, finance, customer servicewith at least 5 years experience in Supply Chain Planning or ProcessImprovement

  • Demonstrated experience leading project work and changemanagement initiatives

  • Experience with SAP or other ERP and/or BI reporting

  • Strong analytical skills; capable of breaking down complexissues and identifying key drivers; can identify cross process upstream anddownstream impacts

  • Proven ability to collaborate, lead, coach, facilitate, andcommunicate with individuals across a broad range of education, experience, andfunctional spectrums


  • Experience working in a Cargill SAP instance

  • Demonstrated experience leading project work in large scaleprojects

  • Lean Six Sigma certified

  • Project management experience

  • Knowledge of Cargill value chain and work processes

  • Very strong ability and appetite to learn and apply new concepts
