The Management Reporting and Analysis Analyst role is a member of the CASCNA A&F Finance team. This position is part of an enterprise-wide team, accountable for balancing fiduciary responsibility and business partnering, while actively promoting the value of a strong control framework.
This position is responsible for executing P&L reconciliation and complete analysis to explain business performance to multiple stakeholders at different levels of the organization. This role delivers financial analysis in a structured way to enhance decision making and looks for financial metrics optimization opportunities. This position develops partnerships with commercial leads, merchandising, product line, logistics, FP&A and other A&F teams.
This position requires good financial analysis skills and will be the key point of contact to our product line teams for any product line related analysis. The role provides business drivers by analyzing data and making recommendations to product line on how to maximize business value.
The role partners with peers across the enterprise with other product lines within A&F, as well as FP&A colleagues.
60% Business Partnering and Financial Analysis
Responsible for delivery of timely, accurate and consistent management reporting and identifying business insights to enhance decision making.
Responsible for obtaining and reviewing all relevant financial data involving our product margins.
Work with product line to identify opportunities, develop potential solutions and implement initiatives that bring value through increased revenue and reduced costs.
Participate in the implementation of BU finance initiatives and process improvements such as Finance Shared Services, ERP system changes, etc.
Provide financial data requests for any grain/product margin related “Business accelerator” initiatives
Help partner with other finance teams to reconcile P&L estimates to ensure financial reporting accuracy, specifically with regards to margin analysis. Work closely with A&F Leadership team members, Finance COE’s and the FP&A team to help achieve finance objectives
20% Oversee Financial Reporting Process
Review and analyze product margin related financial issues.
Lead resolution to any management questions regarding product margin financial performance
Assist with product margin related aspects of the Control Review Package (CRP) and Lower Level Financial Review (LLFR) for the businesses in their specific businesses.
10% Execution of control framework for grain related transaction and contract administration
Oversee efforts to maintain a control environment which safeguards assets, ensures integrity of financial statements, balance sheet reviews and compliance with government and Cargill reporting requirements.
Coordinate requested support to external/internal auditors for grain/product margin related activities.
10% Lead Special Projects as required
Assist with the implementation of accounting and finance strategy & approach which aligns with the strategy of the country(s) and finance job family.
Collaborate in process optimization, leveraging of shared services, and improving the efficiency of finance operations.

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance or 4 years experience in P&L reconciliation
Minimum 2 years of external accounting experience or 18 months Cargill accounting/finance experience
Able to travel up to 15%
