Job Purpose and Impact

The Global Data Analytics and Digital Advisor will be a member of the Cargill Global Data Function’s Analytics Excellence team and lead activities to empower integrating digital, with data and analytics practices to mature digital and data literacy across Cargill. In this role, you will remain current with relevant digital technologies, data practices, analytics tools, trends, and needs of Cargill employees to coordinate and deliver timely and relevant learning content and engagements. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify digital and data-related challenges and value opportunities to enable learning solutions that improve decision-making, drive efficiency, innovation, and value.

Key Accountabilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify digital and data-related challenges and value opportunities to enable learning solutions that improve decision-making and drive efficiency and innovation.

  • Apply business knowledge to deliver insightful recommendations to shape, build out and measure the success of the digital and data literacy program.

  • Provide and deliver education and training on new solutions or techniques to foster improved digital and data consumption and improve opportunities to derive new value opportunities from data.

  • Mentor and coach team members and users to access, consume and advise on digital solutions and analyze data using a variety of tools and coordinate the assistance from subject matter experts in the creation and delivery of learning content.

  • Create documentation, training materials, media content and tracking to enable digital and data literacy initiatives.

  • Explore new or optimal data sources to drive effectiveness and efficiency, promote digital and data skills and analytics usage across Cargill, encourage visibility and reusability of data and analytics solutions, and support data challenges and persona-based learning programs.

  • Perform advanced analysis on business / industry trends, and internal and external data to identify new opportunities to improve business decision making and provide oversight and support for ongoing activities in fostering a data-driven culture.

  • You will serve as an expert in your field and work with limited direction, using additional research and interpretation to identify issues/problems. You may provide direction to lower-level team members and be a key contributor.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience

  • Minimum of six years of related work experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master's degree in related field

  • Relevant work experience in leading digital transformation initiatives, digital and data learning programs, and developing digital strategies.

  • Product management skills, including experience in managing projects and coordinating with subject matter experts.

  • Ability to evaluate the impact of digital and data initiatives on driving improved performance, productivity, engagement, and customer satisfaction.

  • Knowledge of the latest trends and technologies in digital innovation, such as artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and cybersecurity.

  • Proven experience connecting digital and data to realized business value opportunities.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Proven coaching and mentoring skills.

  • Problem-solving skills and experience identifying process improvements.

  • Ability to simplify complex topics for non-technical stakeholders.

  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of self-service analytics tools including one or more of the following (Power BI, Tableau and KNIME).

  • Data Analysis experience and working knowledge of SQL.

  • Proficiency in Data Governance and Data Quality Management.

  • Experience working with Camtasia video editing software a plus.
