As a CCC Data Process Analyst you are accountable to support the implementation of data processes and quality in the regional CCCNA business across core business applications. This is a key role to ensure that data processes are being executed with efficiency and that data quality is high and is maintaining the standards defined by the CCC Business Process Governance team. The scope of this role can vary by size of business and scope of data being managed but may include supporting material master, customer and vendor master data processes. Additional data objects may or may not include customer segmentation, pricing, finance objects, recipes, or others.

Master data in SAP CCC is complex and touches every part of the business. The Data process Analyst is responsible to coordinate the interdependent activities of creating and updating master data in a transactional environment in adherence to the CCC group blueprints.

Principal Accountabilities

50% Data Process Management

  • Successfully supports businesses data process activities for master data across various data objects;

  • Has a full understanding of the business needs from a data perspective including how to structure a finished goods, ingredients, packaging, customers, and vendors.

  • Supports the data creation by coaching and upholding CCC data standards to create group integrated value.

  • Defines and implements data processes with discipline and consistency to ensure data is usable by the business in a timely manner.

  • Communicates effectively across all functions of the business to ensure data is being created to support business processes and information needs.

  • Partners with the Finance North-America Data Management team and the CBS Shared Services team to ensure the data creation and update process is meeting service level agreements (SLAs) and quality.

  • Ensures that internal service level agreements are defined and are being measured across departments for creating and updating master data in the business.

  • Helps monitoring data KPIs to ensure data is being created and updated to support process health and analytical needs.

  • Reports to the Global Data & Analytics Lead for CCC to ensure strategic alignment and execution of broader CCC data initiatives and direction.

  • Participates in the CCC Data Community of Practice to share experiences, learnings and opportunities for improvement in the business.

  • Proactively monitors data quality in the business and takes corrective action to ensure adherence to data standards.

  • Escalate risks and issues as appropriate, ensures contingency plans minimize risk

30% Continuous Improvement & Value Realization

  • Supports continuous improvement projects with the business to improve data processes and/or quality.

  • Collaborates across CCC to ensure that master data that is shared is not duplicative

  • Collaborates with the CCC enterprise to identify data project portfolio opportunities.

  • Monitors data quality and data process KPIs (key performance indicators), ensure new business capability will be sustainable

20% Data Process Ownership

  • Understands and communicates standard business practices within CCC.

  • Ensures training for how End Users create, update, and maintain data in business applications adhere to global data standards

  • Creates alignment with Global CCC data to ensure consistency across our global CCC business

  • Support the development and execution of Data Process Metrics

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in experience

  • 5 year of experience

  • 3 - 5 years of business experience including 2 years of experience in data, data process and data deployment (business-to-business or business-to-consumer)

  • Proven experience influencing teams and across departments

  • Demonstrated the ability execute with excellence

  • The ability to connect the business needs with the data needs

  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks, meet deadlines and make decisions that impact business results

  • Demonstrated strong problem solving, attention to detail, and organization skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint

  • Experience with SAP Master Data Management including Customer, Vendor and Material data

  • Familiarity with Cargill’s SAP Instances (TC1, TC2 or TC3)

  • Good understanding of project principles; including planning, cost, quality, schedule, gated process and critical path management

  • Ability to travel 10%
