JOB PURPOSE AND IMPACT

The Cooling Solutions Business Development Manager will foster and grow our business development activities and revenue from new market segments and channels, develop current partners, and establish new ones. Determine, lead, and expand our go-to-market strategy for the Cooling Solutions Business. We seek a results-oriented professional who will prioritize activities to develop our market segments, set revenue targets, and help as an advisor to develop our portfolio offerings into the immersion cooling market.

The Cargill Bioindustrial Group recognizes the increasing commercial and consumer demand for renewable and biodegradable products, the help in eliminating toxic and unsafe products. With the increasing viability of bio-based alternatives, Cargill Bioindustrial leverages more than 60 years’ experience in agriculture-based chemistry for industrial applications.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Identify new business opportunities and commercial partnerships, as they lead the Immersion Cooling Solutions Business Globally within our BioIndustrial Group

  • Create business development strategies and annual business development plans to reach business objectives and revenue as they determine and expand our go-to-market Strategy, including financial targets with P&L Ownership

  • Work closely with account managers to understand business requirements and market needs, while prioritizing, guiding and advising on product offerings in this business.

  • Identify new market segments and opportunities for business development, calculating returns and investment.

  • Obtain agreement to execute the investment, resources, and actions required for business development.

  • Provide expert thought leadership in your field and work with limited direction, using additional research and interpretation to identify issues or problems. You may provide direction to supporting team members and be a strategic contributor.

  • Lead customer-facing initiatives in the cooling market (product launches, marketing campaigns, events, etc.) including the participation in industry committees as our representative in these associations, advise on standards for the OCP (open computing) industry advising on the future of immersion cooling.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience

  • Minimum of six years of related work experience in the Immersion Cooling Market: datacenters, battery cooling, electronics equipment cooling, etc.

  • Ability to travel up to 50%

  • Minimum of six years of experience in customer-facing roles – or equivalent in product management, segment/category market leadership experience.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset, desire to build a business.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Understands the Cooling market structure and stakeholders globally

  • Experience in Global Sales/Product/Portfolio or Technical management roles

  • Experience in building a business from startup.

  • Experience in strategic co-branded products/partnerships
