PositionPurpose & Summary
Merchandiseand manage the commercial risk for Cargill’s North American biodieselproduction. Working closely withCargill’s commercial team, operations group, supply chain team, and customers.
50% Work directly with customers to tradeCargill’s production into the market, as well as managing other customer relateditems including logistics, accounts recievables, contract balances, qualityconcerns and other growth opportunities.Execute merchandising gameplan.
30% Collaborate with peers on the commercial teamto analyse market inputs and develop merchandising plan.
10% Compile merchandising/position reports, updatemarket/customer information, assist with accounting issues, and supportlogistics/supply chain needs.
10% Connect with related internal product lines, functions, and businesseswithin Cargill
2 years of merchandising experience
1 years of experience in a customer facingposition
Experience or interest in renewable fuelmarkets/policy
Experience in vegetable oil/fat markets and/orenergy markets
Demonstrated abilityto present technical concepts to a wide range of audiences
