Compensation: $28.00/hr.

A Typical Work Day May Include:

  • Operate all plant equipment, Plant sanitation via normal/high pressure water hose or shoveling/material handling

  • Monitoring and controlling the various unit operations via the process control system, checking product quality and progress

  • Performing quality checks on raw materials, intermediate process streams, and finished products, using a variety of laboratory equipment

  • Operation of all plant rolling stock including Rail movers, pay-loader, bobcat, forklift, scissors lift and skyjack

  • Performing a variety of preventive/planned basic maintenance tasks on plant systems and equipment. Also being directly involved with improvement of these systems and the equipment

  • Participate in team roles and discussions; and function as a working member of a high-performance work team

  • Understanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulations

  • Maintaining a safe and clean work environment

  • Other duties as assigned

What You Will Need:

  • Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer

  • Cargill requires employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility

  • Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)

  • Basic use of a computer

  • Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting safely, with or without a reasonable accommodation

  • Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, also handling of chemicals, with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including a respirator

  • Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)

  • Must be able to operate machinery and/or industrial equipment
