Responsible for all projectmanagement activities for poultryProject in Philippines with medium to highcomplexity category as defined by the Build PPM complexity differentiators,including project leadership, project planning, project execution, projectcontrol, and business results.
Responsible for leadingthestrategic development, deployment and delivery of all Build Project Managementobjectives requiring Functional Engineering/Technology Domain Area expertiseapplication and oversight.
Provides strategicvision to the project team utilizing industry leading knowledge of Buildproject management practices, strategies and procedures, and must posesssuperior technical acumen and a full knowledge of business acumen.
Leads periodicproject reviews utilizing industry leading knowledge of the project deliveryprocess for Build projects (inclusive of reviews recognized by the constructionindustry).
Identifies,recommends and implements project management best practices based on industryleading knowledge of project management
Identifies,recommends and implements capital effectiveness best practices (e.g. front endloading, team alignment, target setting, project controls, rate of change,value improving practices, leading technology, constructability, planning forstartup) based on industry leading knowledge of Build project management.
Providesmentorship, coaching and development for team members and functional leads asappropriate.
Champions andreinforces Cargill’s behavioral based safety process and zero fatalitiesthroughout every phase of Build projects.
Ensures Buildprojects are planned and executed in compliance with laws and regulations.
Works with andmanages engineering firms across a large number of engineering disciplines.
Defines technical project objectives utilizing industry leading knowledgeof project management practices and procedures.
Leads development of the project scope based on industry leadingknowledge of Build project management practices, strategies and procedures andcapital effectiveness best practices.
Prepares the plan for how the Build project is executed, monitored andcontrolled and works with the Project Manager to develop the Integrated ProjectPlan for the project.
Partners with cross-functional leaders to leverage resources, knowledgeand strategiesthat increase value capturedthroughout the Build project.
Leads the executionof Build projects with medium to high complexity.
Utilizes theproject management framework to achieve technical project objectives ofdelivered safely, on time, on budget and operability results are realized formedium to high complexity Build projects
Regularly measuresand monitors project progress to identify variances from the plan and makeneeded corrections for medium to high complexity Build projects.
Contains andresolves technical issues within the Build project that do not require ProjectSponsor or Project Manager attention.
Accountable forproviding the Project Sponsor and stakeholders with a routine status of theBuild project, actively communicating technical issues and threats, andensuring that leadership alignment is a priority.
Works with businessto ensure project is successfully implemented and technical benefits and valueare captured for medium to high complexity Build projects.
Ensures the Buildproject meets the operability requirements laid out in the project objectivesby the business.
Accountable for achievingstrategic and tactical metrics from internal and external benchmarking; indicesmay include Safety Fatalities, Operability Index, Cost Index, Schedule Index,etc.
Ensures successfulcompletion and closure of all technical aspects of the Build project.
Minimum Requi r edQualifications
Bachelors Degree in Engineering :Civil, Chemical, Food Processing,Mechanical or Electrical.
Minimum 6 years of experiences in the related area.
Willing to work in an international as well as in a multifunctionalorganization
Excellent English for both spoken and writing
Knowledge and demonstrated experience with the Portfolio and ProjectManagement process for full rigor Build projects, including PPM and Builddeliverables
Proven ability to lead multifunctional teams and build and leveragerelationships across multiple functions and businesses to maximize teamperformance and achieve project objectives
Proven ability to leverage Environmental, Health & Safety, Food Safety,Quality and Regulatory Affairs experts to plan and execute the project tocomply with the laws of the country for the project
Proven ability to champion Cargill's behavioral based safety process andzero fatalities
Proven ability to leverage Cargill's technical subject matter experts,regional COEs, and cross-function experts to design and build a project that isthe Best (safer, cost effective, faster, operable & maintainable)
Proven ability to apply project controls best practices to improve thepredictabilty and effectiveness of the project's cost and schedule (workbreakdown structure, cost estimating methods & validation, projectexecution planning, and cost & schedule control during execution)
Proven ability to leverage Change Management principles and toolsthroughout a project.(for examplecommunication planning, stakeholder management, RASCI)
Knowledge and demonstrated experience effectively managing anengineering firm, particularly scoping and managing the work of third partyengineering and related consulting companies
Proven ability to partner wtih Strategic Sourcing to leverage Cargill'sglobal strategies and supplier relationships when evaluating major sourcingdecisions, achieving significant business results and/or competitive advantagesin situations involving difficult or complex negotiations, and properlyadministerprocurement and constructionagreements used to procure goods and services
Proven ability to leverage and apply best practices (documentmanagement, construction management techniques & strategies, risk analysistechniques &control methods,quality assurance & inspections)
Knowledge and demonstrated experience managing documents in accordanceto Cargill's guidelines, policies and procedures for Records & Information Management,Intellectual Property, Corporate Audit and Corporate Financial Reporting
Knowledge and demonstrated experience with contingency policies andprocedures, managing contingency usage and job accounting systems and tracking,forecasting, taking appropriate actions to correct deviations from budget &reporting costs throughout a project
Proven team leadership, mentoring, coaching and delegating skills

P r efer r ed Qualifications
Job experience: minimum 8 years in Engineering & Contructionenvironment plus experience in managing other technical functions.
Lead Project Definition Rating Index review, completed IndependentProject Analysis reviews
Completed Construction Project Management course, Build Project ManagerAcademy courses or relevant previous project experience
OSHO 30 hours contruction safety course
Trained Project Workshop Facilitator
Strong influencing skills, ability to work across the organization andwith multiple functions
Demonstrated skills at managing and leading in complex and ambiguoussituations
Demonstrated experience continuously enhancing the quality of theproject management processes and coaching/training the team on implementingeffective quality management practices
Recognized achievements and contributions to Cargill in their area ofexpertise
