Responsible for the attainment of the production goal of theunit, aligned to overall efficiency and profitability goal of the company.
Responsible in the supervision of all farms in his/her area ofassignment and ensure that production targets and standards are being metthrough efficient broiler management. This position will also ensure adherenceto Cargill Guiding Principles to include policies and procedures for safety,food safety, environmental, sanitation, work quality standards, management andproduction
Assists the Breeder Farmduring check-in, brooding, grading, feeding management, laying management, Malebreeder management, Hatching egg handlingand undertake measures which shall ensure thesuccessful performance of flock.
Forecasting,requesting, monitoring and control of farm inputs: feeds medicines, vaccinesand other biologicals
Perform routine check onthe general health condition and production performance of the birds and toprovide necessary medical assistance in coordination with Poultry TechnicalSpecialist as needed.
Ensure the proper dispersal,medication and administration of vaccines, antibiotics, vitamins and other poultrymedications seeing to it that such were properly given in accordance withAnimal Health Procedures.
Ensuresthat all provisions of the Broiler breeding agreement are strictly beingimplemented including biosecurity and safety policies
Responsible in the timely submission of blood, fecal, water and othersamples for routine laboratory examination and analysis.
- Providescontinuous training to farms personnel on systems and processes with regards tohouse preparation, chick acceptance, brooding, growing, feeding, egg handlinglaying management and proper documentation.
- Documents and analyze daily production data andin checking all farm reports for accuracy, correctness and timeliness ofsubmission. Ensures that production performance is regularly evaluated andreviewed with the partners to be able to come up with action plans andimprovements.
- Consolidatesand processes breeding liquidations and in computing incentives and penaltiesbasis breeding contract payment provision.
Perform other tasks and functions as maybe assigned by superiors.
Should be a graduate or Doctor of VeterinaryMedicine or Animal Science.
3 years experience in broiler breeder or 3 yearsbroiler production.
Knowledgeable of basic HR practices, etc.
Leadership: A demonstrated ability to leadpeople, positively influence and get results through others.
Ability to adapt and learn in a changing workenvironment, policies or regulations.
Ability to manage multiple priorities.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Demonstrated strong problem-solving andanalytical skills.

Demonstrated ability to interact with multiplelevels of the facility and with outside agencies and customers.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Effective at interacting with regulatoryagencies, facility leadership, plant personnel, consultants etc.
