Cargill SalesForce Marketing Cloud Consultant in Brazil

Position Purpose

This important position in the DXO will be customer-facing to all Cargill’s global businesses, with respect to their usage/future usage of Salesforce Marketing Cloud. This role will be imperative to creating the strategic direction of Marketing Cloud at an Enterprise-level at Cargill as well as hands on working side-by-side with the business.

Principal Accountabilities

20% Project Intake – manage incoming inquiries from new groups looking to add Marketing Cloud to their stack, or current users who are looking to implement new functionality. This includes scoping the work and providing a high-level estimate of the work (with help from our Developers) and deciding who will execute the work.

40% Marketing Cloud Governance – Execute on immediate changes needed in Marketing Cloud to ensure future stability of the platform. Work with DXO, Business Stakeholders, Operations, Developers, 3rd party consultants, Enterprise & Solution Architects, etc. to get these changes approved and stood-up with little impact to day-to-day operations. This understanding the use cases of each BU in marketing Cloud and ability to find solutions that will work for most if not all.

20% Maintain Strong Relationship & Alignment with Marketing Cloud Support / Developers – Understand & leverage everyone’s strengths and capabilities on the teams and connect regularly to understand the Support tickets that are coming in as well as share the ongoing developments going on across all the BU’s. This also includes Knowledge Transfer at the end of projects.

10% Direct Project Work & Project Consultation – get involved in Projects where needed, and consult as BU’s have high-level, strategic questions and requests.

10% Define ideal Cargill Support Model for Marketing Cloud – Collaborate with stakeholders to understand current operations and strategize how we can make our operating model easier/faster for our customers, support team, & business partners.

Required Qualifications

  • University degree in IT, Computer Science or equivalent experience

  • 5+ years experience in IT

  • 3+ years experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud

  • Strong relationship management skills with internal clients (e.g. senior management, peers and colleagues)

  • Strong presentation skills with demonstrated ability to influence at all levels of management through clear, informed and logical discussions/presentations.

  • Self-Starter

  • Ability to work in a highly ambiguous environment

  • Team player – ability to work with people of all different skillsets and backgrounds.

  • Proven Hands on experience

  • Advanced English level

  • Excellent verbal, written and technical communication skills and interpersonal skills

Preferred requirements

  • Marketing Cloud Consultant Certification

  • Knowledge in Agile Methodology
