Description

Actsas a liaison between the company and regulatory authorities ensuring complianceof FIBI products and import/export activities with applicable regulations andensure the registration required by authorities for activities, facilities andportfolio of FIBI Philippines, include halal certification. Monitor and understand regulations related tofood safety, quality and marketing authorization of products. Collaborate with other functions such as Comercial,Customer Service and Technical Service to provide regulatory assistance.

  • Facilitates timely and correct applicationsof regulatory compliance of products andprovide oversight for registration of products and import/export activities

  • Compile registration dossiers and interact withauthorities for getting approval. Coordinate the action incurred during productregistration process

  • Ensures the product CPR and halal certificateare valid at all times

  • Maintain strong relationships with all personnelwithin the relevant regulatory body to ensure ease of access and influence

  • Compile andmaintain regulatory documentation databases or system to keep control of licences status and managerenewal.

  • Properly storeall documents submitted to Regulatories and any other documents relatedproducts

  • Provide otherclerical and administrative support to management as requested

  • Develop and maintain current knowledge base of existingand emerging regulations, standards, or guidance documentsin the country related to feed safety, quality andmarketing of products. Keep knowledge current.

  • Obtain anddistribute updated information regarding domestic or international laws,guidelines, or standards.

  • Develop orconduct employee regulatory training

  • Participate ininternal or external Regulatory audits

  • Supportactivities of food associations activities or projects related to technicalaspects of the legislation such as registration, labels, specifications.

  • Provide input toCargill regulatory network.Provideregulatory input into new product process of the business when required.

Qualifications

Minimum Requi r edQualifications

  • BSDegree in food technology, food science, chemistry or related field

  • Possesthe certificate from FDA as QPIRA is preferred

  • 5 years of professional Regulatory affairs experience;with a majority of time in a food, feed or feed ingredient manufacturingcompany.

  • Fluentin speaking and writing in English

  • IntermediateKnowledge of Food Laws & Regulations - Stays up-to-date and ensurescompliance with feed laws and regulations.

  • IntermediateManaging and Improving Regulatory Processes - Delivers processes that arealigned, effective, and optimize Cargill resources.

  • Intermediateknowledge in registration process – knows the type of information and documentsto be generated for registration of products.

  • IntermediateProject Management - Applies a structured, disciplined approach to planning,administering and completing projects successfully.

  • IntermediateTraining / Meeting Management - Delivers learning solutions in a manner thatengages learners and produces desired outcomes.

  • IntermediateScientific Knowledge. Applies scientific knowledge in quality, feed safety andanimal nutrition to contribute to product registration and to provide inputduring new product development.

  • IntermediateBusiness Acumen - Applies deep and practical business acumen to partnereffectively with business counterparts.

P r efer r ed Qualifications

  • MasteralDegree in food science, chemistry, pharma or related areas

  • Possesthe certificate from FDA as QPIRA is preferred

  • 8 yearsof professional Regulatory affairs experience; with most time in a food, feedor feed ingredient manufacturing company; veterinary of pharma manufacturingcompany.

  • Mainlyexperience in food industry

  • Activeparticipation in food association

  • Fluentin English speaking and writing

  • AdvancedKnowledge of Food Laws & Regulations - Stays up-to-date and ensurescompliance with feed laws and regulations.

  • AdvancedManaging and Improving Regulatory Processes - Delivers processes that arealigned, effective, and optimize Cargill resources.
