Cargill Account Manager, Indulgence Sales Category in Taguig, Philippines

Job Purpose and Impact

Account Manager will develop ways to increase sales and revenue from new and existing market segments within a designated geographic territory or market. In this role, you will develop and implement business plans, build and nurture relationships with various procurement and research and development stakeholders and participate in activities of marketing, sales and R&D support to reach objectives and revenue goals.

Key Accountabilities

  • Manage accounts as assigned in Indulgence categories and country, including drive business growth, perform sales execution, grow / maintain share of wallet, and win new business to achieve CFB2030 strategy.

  • By working closely with Sales Leader, develop short to medium term sales strategies and implement sales plans.

  • Protect, grow and diversify the relationship with targeted customers. Help identify potential customers and handle existing customer relationships.

  • Provide feedback to business on customer needs and recommend adaptions to business strategy as appropriate.

  • Recognize and pursue new market segments and opportunities.

  • Partner with various functions to achieve targets, including technical, product line management, pricing, operations, supply chain, risk management, marketing, etc.

  • Develop strong pipeline for business growth in the assigned customers/categories by unlocking opportunities, being customer experts, discovering unmet needs / jobs-to-be-done for customers, and executing pipeline together with cross-functional team.

  • Gain in depth general industry as well as deep local market knowledge.

  • Monitor customer and competitor activity and industry trends.

  • Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience

  • Minimum of four years of related work experience

  • Other minimum qualifications may apply

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum of four years of related work experience

  • Chocolate experience preferred

  • Ability to effectively build formal and informal relationship networks inside and outside the organization.

  • Demonstrate competency to maneuver comfortably through complex policy, process and people related organizational dynamics
