  • Identifies and implements improvements to warehouse and logistics/transportation processes and ensures process documents are updated for work steps within scope of responsibility.

  • Sets objectives within scope of responsibility related to administrative work in order for supported locations/plants to achieve operations targets.

  • Provides general oversight of operations of a warehouse/stockroom (e.g. packaging warehouse, maintenance parts stockroom, value added products warehouse, finished goods cold storage, chiller room), including oversight of:

-Receiving of materials/goods and/or supplies (both physical receipt and in procurement/inventorymanagement system)

-Location management

-Coordination of handling of storage of materials/goods and/or supplies

-Delivery of materials/goods and/or supplies within a location

-Observe FEFO or FIFO whatever is applicable

-Implement Good Warehousing Practices (GWP)

  • Implement/Formulate processes and procedures that will:

-Ensure that goods are delivered and/or picked-up on-time, in-full and in good condition.

-Monitor channel capacity and partners with managers/supervisors to develop plan in case of gaps in order to minimize cost to serve and impact to customers. Communicates with key stakeholders in the process. Recommend options and game plans on logistical activities.

-Coordinate manpower requirement for handling and warehousing needs.

-Ensure and implement embedded control in all logistics processes especially in warehouse and inventory management to prevent losses and shrinkages. Continuously improves logistics systems and processes to ensure smooth operation


  • Provides the analysis of inventory management system reports requiring interpretation, to follow materials/goods, services and/or supplies through the supply chain; ensures internal stakeholders (e.g. plant operations staff, finance, etc.) informed of status.

  • Defines/creates reports in order to improve inventory management/planning processes.

  • Provides general oversight of physical inventory process and reconciliation with inventory management system working through subordinate supervisor or team lead.


  • Sets and communicates priorities for a warehouse/stockroom.

  • Responsible for aligning overall team resources to execute against short term and longer-term strategies and meeting Department objectives.

  • Provides overall guidance and warehouse expertise to the team, individually or through subordinate lead persons.

  • Accountable for performance management, talent development, succession planning and engagement for his/her team.


  • Establishes strong working relationships with carrier owners/operators.

  • Contacts local Cargill approved carriers in order to confirm availability and capacity for individual shipments.

  • Provides all necessary shipment information to freight carrier and receive and record confirmation that carrier has accepted each shipment.

  • Contacts Logistics Manager when the approved carriers do not have capacity for a shipment.

  • Provides updates on shipment planning status to supply chain as required or requested.


  • Follow up with the execution of the shipments. Monitors the status of the loading and shipment and performs track and trace activities to confirm status of shipment throughout the shipment execution process.

  • Provides timely communication with carrier owners and operators, Operations, and maintains daily contact with Agriculture, Operations, and Supply Chain teams and carriers on order/shipment information.

  • Addresses service incidents and prioritizes activities and takes fast decisions to cope with a lot of variations due to – change in pick up location, bad quality of a product, truck rejections by the customer, re-routing of a travelling truck.Operates within the transport strategy and resolves day to day issues in resourceful and effective ways and provides recommendations to support improved or cost-beneficial transport movements.

  • Provides necessary information in regards to the transportation of shipments

  • Provides information about shipment execution with the Accounts Payable team in order to help them resolve issues regarding payments, invoices, and charges.


  • University degree holder

  • 5 years experience in warehousing,logistics, transportation, and distribution preferably in a Mangerial position

  • 3 years experience in agri/foods business tobusiness supply chain environment

  • With background in preparing reports andfinancial documents such as liquidation, etc.

  • Proficient in MS Office

  • Strong competence in warehouse andtransportation management

  • Excellent communication skills (frequentinteraction with different functions/levels)

  • Good analytical skills
