  • Responsible for the detailed materials plan taking into considerationhistorical demand data as well as forward forecasts to determine the mostoptimum economical stock levels.

  • Anticipate potential inventory issues likeshortages and oversupply.

  • Generates ideas, insights and solutions toprevent or resolve potential problems, followed by decisive action to implementsolutions.

  • Identify obsolete, slow moving, unused inventory for eventualdisposition.

  • Useeffective collaboration skills using open communication and sharing ofimportant business information to all concerned.


  • Coordinatesdelivery schedules and other matters with the suppliers as needed. Monitors theflow of inventory from the supplier to the plant, warehouses and otherlocations.

  • Evaluatessupplier on time performance and other factors


  • Ensures that all materials requirements areidentified, communicated and documented.

  • Analyze data and collaborate with internalcustomers to determine and apply appropriate ordering, inventory, and replenishmentpolicies.Works with plant operations to ensure adequate inventory is available

  • Use statistical techniques on inventory data todetermine opportunities to decrease inventory, improve customer service levels,and reduce total costs in order to support lean manufacturing activities.

  • Makes sure that all materials are entered in theERP system and appropriate master data details are available.

  • Other Duties as Assigned

  • Providesother support to production and management as required.


Required Qualifications

  • University degree

  • 2-3 years of relevant experience.

  • Good understanding of supply chain processes andtheir interdependencies.

  • Highly effective and professional verbal andwritten communication skills with team, internal customers and suppliers thatincludes a strong focus on teamwork and internal/external customer satisfaction.

  • Exhibits & encourages a sense of urgency.

  • Highly organized with strong attention todetail, and superior follow-up and follow-through skills.

  • Proven ability to multi-task and prioritizeprojects and primary responsibilities.

  • Ability to establish and maintain effectiveworking relationships with management, colleagues, suppliers, and customers.

  • Strong analytical, conceptual, and negotiationskills.

  • Proficient in MSOffice.Strong IT systems knowledge and skills including advanced Excelskills.

  • Ability to performunder time pressure.
