This position is responsible for leading andproviding direction for transportation and agricultural logistics. Primaryfunction is the efficient and cost effective shipments of Hatching eggs,Broiler DOC’s, Live Broilers, PS Breeder DOC’s and other Agriculture operationsrelated products. The function include coordination with SC Ag planning, Breederand Hatchery operations, Broiler operations and PP operations.
Oversees allday-to-day logistics planning and execution of Ag operational activities.
LOGISTICS PLANNING AND EXECUTION
Manages fleet and shipment activities. Ensures that goods are delivered and/or picked-up on-time, in-full and in good condition.
Monitors channel capacity and partners with managers/supervisors to develop plan in case of gaps in order to minimize cost to serve and impact to concerned Ag departments. Communicates with key stakeholders in the process. Recommend options and game plans on logistical activities.
Investigate failures, identify and understand root causes, drive continues improvement. Unplanned logistics cost management and claim management.
Provides guidance and feedback to help team identify areas of improvement and cost management deficiencies in order to create efficient supply chain planning techniques and tools/systems.
SERVICE PROVIDER MANAGEMENT
Evaluates, accredits and approves new service providers accreditation to ensure good base of logistics partners.
Coordinates manpower requirement for handling and shipment needs.
SYSTEMS / DATAMANAGEMENT, REPORTING & ANALYSIS
Ensures all customer requirements are identified, communicated and documented. With some oversight, works with plant operations to ensure adequate inventory is available, and customer requirements are within operations capabilities.
Ensures all documents pertaining to Ag logistics operations are accurate, legitimate and well kept.
Accurate reporting of required data such as warehouse reports, logistics reports, etc. with analysis for internal partner use (Supply Chain planning, Agriculture Team, Operations Team)

Minimum Requi r edQualifications
Bachelors Degree graduate
5years experience in transportation planning, especially road transportation anddistribution
3years experience in agri/foods business to business supply chain environment
Strongcompentence in warehouse and transportation planning
Excellentcommunication skills (frequent interaction with different functions/levels)
Helicopterview, strategic thinker
Process& task oriented
Abilityto perform under time pressure
