Position Purpose & Summary

Purpose of the position is to improve safety behavior and performance by

1. assessing the best practices in the locations

2. making recommendations on trainings based upon proper evaluation of the existing training programs in function of the safety requirements and safety goals to be fulfilled

3.adapt corporate trainings/requirements to local training packages

4.train the trainer and follow up the trainings

Principal Accountabilities

70% EHS Program Development and Training

-Develop an effective and coordinated Learning&Development strategy and EHS curriculum with a plan for delivery within CSST China. Develop solutions to and effectively deliver the training to diverse group on a train the trainer basis. This includes: Collect the training materials, assess the training materials and adapt to local needs, develop training plan for the locations based upon the strategic needs

-Manage the EHS training system online information to

Track the trainings and the effectiveness of the trainings that have been rolled out

Allow to track the link between the training efforts and the safety index improvement

-Develop Safety Learning Academy to improve knowledge of people

-promoting an open knowledge – sharing environment that build knowledge, skills for improving awareness of people

20% Business EHS documentary management and data analysis

-EHS Data analysis and report prepare

-Organize the translation and review of the procedures from the CSST AP.

-Prioritize and integrate existing documentary within CSST China.

10% EHS promotion activity planning, coordination, proposal


Education, Experience, Skills

Minimum Required Qualifications

1.Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • More than 2 years Learning & Development experience

2.Required Skills:

  • Familiar with office software application.

  • Good English Skill (written and oral)

3.Other qualifications

  • Experience with training programs, improvement projects around training projects or participation in the setup of a training program. Candidates need to be able to identify and develop independently new ideas and solutions on L&D strategy for EHS and need to be able to deal with complex matrix organization and highly complex problems in a very ambiguous work environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree on engineer OR EHS related

  • EHS experience preferred
