Position Purpose & Summary
The Cargill Business Services (CBS) Group has six locations throughout North America, Latin America and Europe. The purpose of the business service centers is to enable our partners to focus on their business activities and achieve Cargill Strategic Intent. We leverage our deep knowledge and expertise in Finance, Accounting and Business Process Shared Services to provide effective and efficient services globally in the areas of Procure to Pay, Order and Trade Settlement to Cash, Record to Report, and Travel Expense Report Processing. The Cargill Business Service Center in Sofia will be delivering services in the areas of RTR such as Admin Accounting , SGA Expense team, Budget and allocations, Reconciliations and others. The Tax coding team lead position will be a part of the VAT coding team, which provides Tax review services to multiple business units in EMEA region. In this position you will communicate with businesses and tax personnel on issues arising with the tax coding and legal compliance of invoices booked in the General ledgers.
30% Organize, track and review team daily activities. Communication with Tax personnel, Businesses and CBS on questions arising in tax coding and invoices legal compliance
20% Prepare, review and maintain Standart working procedures (SOP) for VAT coding, according to Cargill internal policies and local legislations
20% Support the team in daily processes, organize internal trainings, update the team with latest changes to local compliance for respective conutries responsible
10% Prepare periodical reports (daily, monthly, quarterly)
10% Participate in process improvements
10% Create and develop team KPIs
Education, Experience, Skills
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
4 years experience in Tax accounting, Tax Advisory, Tax Auditing
Demonstrate strong problem solving skills
Ability to communicate/interact with multiple levels of the organization
Strong team player and ability to handle tasks under pressure and in a timely manner with required quality Strong verbal and written communication skills
Motivated for continuous improvement
Languages skills : fluent English
Previous experience in Shared service center
Additional language knowledge will be considered as an advantage (ES, FR, DE, etc.)
