Cargill Insights Manager, Category & Consumer in Singapore, Singapore

Job Purpose and Impact

The Insights Manager (Category & Customer) will plan, direct, control, conduct and analyze category and customer oriented market research activities that create and deliver value to Cargill’s regional Food Solutions business across Southeast Asia. This role will drive research and insights programs of work across Cargill’s core food manufacturing categories, informing the innovation pipeline, identifying category white space opportunities and working collaboratively with customers to support and drive growth for Cargill’s products, services and solutions. In this role, you will develop, maintain and manage marketing insights databases with internally driven or externally derived information sources.

Key Accountabilities

  • Monitor market conditions, category trends and competitors to project business demands.

  • Gather, analyze and interpret marketplace trends and customer insights data to create compelling category marketing and business strategies.

  • Research market conditions to identify potential category white space growth opportunities.

  • Utilize captured insights to plan and shape relevant and impactful product innovation development, go-to-market campaign launches and customer engagements.

  • Analyze and prepare insights forecasts and recommendations for product preferences, sales coverage, market penetration and market trends.

  • Independently manage complex programs of work with minimal supervision.

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience

  • Minimum of four years of related work experience in research & insights within the food & beverage industry (B2B or B2C)

  • Other minimum qualifications may apply
