Job Purpose and Impact
As a Corporate Strategy Associate at Cargill, you will be an integral part of the Corporate Strategy team, working with senior leadership to develop and execute strategic initiatives that drive growth, market entry and transformation for various businesses of Cargill. This position requires a blend of problem-solving and thought leadership, communication and stakeholder management, and project and workstream management skills.
Key Accountabilities
Problem solving and thought leadership: Structure complex business problems, conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis, generate and synthesize findings, and recommend solutions.
Communication: Prepare and deliver high impact memos and presentations to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
Stakeholder management: Develop trust-based relationships with stakeholders from different businesses, including senior executives, commercial teams, and functional teams.
Project and workstream management: Independently lead project workstreams, ensuring timely delivery of milestones and high-quality outputs.
Team Leadership : Coach / mentor junior colleagues, fostering their professional development and ensuring productive team dynamics.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Confirmed analytical skills, conceptual thinking and a strong process mentality
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills
Experience leading, coaching and encouraging feedback from a cross-functional team of individuals
Experienced in portfolio and project management
Experienced in leading a cross-functional team of individuals through coaching and feedback
Minimum of four years of related work experience
Other minimum qualifications may apply
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) from a top-tier institution
Experience in top consulting firms
5 years of experience in leading large-scale strategy projects, including growth, market entry, and transformation initiatives
Experience in the agricultural, food, or commodities sectors
