Job Purpose and Impact

The Project Management Office Manager will drive the business group’s strategic initiatives, prioritization and development of a roadmap. In this role, you will propel our strategy forward, prioritize resources, measure progress, drive accountability and a sense of urgency in the business. You will lead and facilitate complex projects by effectively leveraging organizational resources and aligning teams towards shared objectives that deliver value for our customers and drive profitable business growth.

Key Accountabilities

  • Partner with the strategy team, business and functional leaders to create a strategy execution roadmap and ensure that the project portfolio aligns with the strategy.

  • Develop a framework for key strategic priorities with clear milestones and responsibilities including sequencing of capability builds and short-term and long-term initiatives.

  • Develop a robust framework including metrics to evaluate the overall project portfolio, measure progress and track the impact.

  • Partner with the project teams to ensure projects have robust business cases, clear project plans, right resource and are being executed on schedule and on cost.

  • Provide insights to the leadership to enable rigorous and objective decision making.

  • Develop and deploy best practices for managing the overall portfolio and ensure we have clear processes and governance around projects.

  • Build a high performing PMO organization across APAC including recruitment, performance and talent management including overseeing team members that monitor and report on the status of projects including cost, timing and staffing.

  • Co-ordinate with CFB Enterprise PMO team and other global stakeholders as required and also for sharing of best practices.

  • Identify and resolve obstacles to completing project on time and to budget.

  • Ensure team adheres to internal and external quality standards.

  • Lead project teams, assign individual responsibilities, develop project schedules and determine resource requirements.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience

  • Minimum of eight years of related work experience

  • Other minimum qualifications may apply

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in leading and facilitating complex cross-functional projects

  • Resourceful in activating and leveraging organizational resources to effectively develop and deliver portfolio projects

  • Strong critical reasoning and business acumen to build a balanced portfolio of short-term and long-term projects that systematically advance the business strategy

  • Proven ability to embed a culture of strategy execution and cross-functional alignment deeply into the organization

  • Capable of bringing clarity and focus to top priorities in a complex operating environment

  • Three years of supervisory experience
