This Full time position is located in Sidney, Oh; however please expect receiving calls from a 952 number in case you are considered. Relocation assistance is not provided.
Ensures the safe, efficient and secure operation of production lines. Contributes to overall plant productivity and efficiency by providing support to the production lines by being task-oriented, proactive and responsive. Supports the Supervisor, Production Lead and all Cargill initiatives. Troubleshoots problems with production flow and equipment. Sets a good example by following Cargill’s “Guiding Principles”. Understands and ensures that finished goods are within all customer specifications.
Operate a stand up and sit-down high lift and/or clamp. Unload trailers and stage JIBs in the receiving area for the production Line(s). Communicate with the JIB supplier and yard man to keep a correct and steady flow of the JIB supply for the production line(s). Learn to read and interpret the production and JIB supply schedule. Report and document any problems with the JIB unload schedule to the production lead or Supervisor. Learn and follow all safety procedures for docking and unloading trailers. Follow all plant safety, housekeeping and GMP rules. Communicate with other operators, leads and Supervisors as needed.
Perform all sanitation duties as needed for the outside dock and unload area. Learn and perform the JIB receiver duties as time permits to help with breaks and lunches. Monitor the compactor and recycle trailer area and keep it clean. Other assigned duties as needed.

High School diploma or Equivalent
Must be able to read/write English
Basic computer skills
Must be able to perform physical job duties including bending/stooping.
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
Must be able to operate machinery
Ability to work overtime, holidays, nights, weekends or different shifts
Able to perform physical job duties including shoveling
Able to work under special work conditions, such as extreme heat or cold.
Prior experience in production related work
