This full time position is located in Sidney, OH; however please expect receiving calls from a 952 area code in case you are considered. Relocation assistance is not provided.

The purpose of this position is to load and unload trucks and railcars at the refinery. The customers of this position are the refinery techs and the production supervisors. This person is responsible for loading and unloading rail cars and trucks for the refinery.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Loading and unloading of trucks and railcars (work is outdoors).

  • Prepare loading & unloading documentation.

  • Communicate effectively with other functions (trans, customer service, etc.)

  • Operate process equipment associated with the loadout area including railcar wash, pumps, mobile equipment, and car pullers.

  • Troubleshooting & minor maintenance in loadout, unload, and tank farm area.

  • Cleaning & sanitation of loadout area.

  • Management of oil inventory and supplies inventory.

  • Execution of GMP’s and Food Safety Requirements.


Requ irements :

  • Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer.

  • Cargill requires employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Must be able to read/write English.

  • Basic computer skills.

  • Ability to work overtime.

  • Ability to work holidays, nights, weekends or different shifts.

  • Must be able to perform physical job duties including bending/stooping, climbing ladders, open/close valves, and shoveling.

  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.

  • Must be able to work under special work conditions, such as extreme heat or cold.

  • Ability to work in elevated areas.

  • Must be able to operate machinery.

  • Must be able to operate heavy equipment.

Preferred :

  • Able to perform physical job duties including pounding with hammer and work in confined spaces.

  • Forklift certified.

  • Prior experience in production related work.
