Cargill Sustainability Reporting Analyst in Schiphol, Netherlands

Job Purpose and Impact

The Sustainability Reporting Analyst will establish data analysis and business intelligence capabilities to support the company’s sustainability goals. In this role, you will develop reports and quality processes to support various internal and external reporting purposes. You will collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure the data capabilities developed meet the needs of various stakeholders in an efficient manner.

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead all stakeholder reporting efforts by extracting data on sustainability topics like traceability, land use, human rights and social impact from structured and unstructured data systems

  • Responsible to drive continuous improvement with regards to various stakeholder reporting needs

  • Primary contact to Global Privacy Office to align on stakeholder request

  • Support process to align and standardize metrics in the areas of sustainability and traceability

  • Communicate business cases for sustainability initiatives to key internal stakeholders

  • Partner within teams to deliver timely and accurately data analytics support on company sustainability efforts

  • Coordinate internal and external assurance / audit processes on key metrics to be shared in Cargills Global ESG report

  • Handle the defined sustainability projects and structure work plans to meet initiative goals and timelines

  • Establish best practice by acting as a central point of contact for the sustainability function to coordinate across pillars and outside of pillars

  • Identify potential initiatives for cross business scalability

  • Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience

  • Minimum of two years of related work experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Confirmed experience in statistical analysis and or quantitative modeling in the sustainability field

  • Confirmed experience in sustainability reporting and performance measurement related data and analysis

  • Strong coding skills in SQL and/or Cloudera Hadoop

  • Knowledge of visualization tool like Tableau/PowerBI

  • Excellent English language skills, optional French language skills
