As the Ecommerce Manager you manage the Veliche Gourmet premium couverture chocolate ecommerce platform & shop in the broadest sense. Being responsible for a good working ecommerce process towards our customers being professional chocolate artisans like Chefs, Chocolatiers, Patissiers, Bakers. First in The Netherlands and later Germany as well further expansion. You define and prioritize the efforts of the Veliche Gourmet digital team, collaborate with the external development team and scrum master to improve the customer journey and are responsible as well for all end-to-end processes related to ecommerce. You make sure all is handled, action executed and outsourced to right agency or tackled internally. You are part of a core team with a Digital Marketeer and a Ecommerce Customer Engagement Specialist. You are able to operate at both a strategic and tactical level and to make difficult and complex prioritization calls to successfully sell online. Overall you are responsible for the sales via the ecommerce channel and associated cost i.e. profit and loss related to this channel.
You are responsible for managing product roadmap and maintaining product backlog and executing with external agency, tracking and reporting where required;
You manage expectations and day-to-day interactions with key stakeholders;
You are responsible for all end-to-end processes related to ecommerce and make sure they get executed;
You are responsible for merchandising, making sure shop is working and generating the planned sale;
You are responsible for day-to-day management of fulfilment and payment partner including sign off on costs;
You organizes and chair weekly stand up meeting with core ecommerce team of 3-4 persons(Digital Marketeer and Ecommerce Customer Engagement Specialist, Marcom Coordinator) and external agencies;
You manage, priorities and execute actions with the internal team as well ecommerce agencies;
You understand funnel and conversion analysis;
You work with key business stakeholders to understand business requirements and articulate business needs;
You use expertise to advise, recommend and productively challenge where required.
Higher Education (Master/Bachelor degree)
4-5 years’ Experience in ecommerce
Able to bring clarity in details (customer promise)
Strong in internal and external stakeholder management
Experience with agile working/SCRUM
Great communication skills
Structured and practical/pragmatic
English verbally and written, German is an advantage
