The Strategic Marketing & Technology (SMT) function inCAN and CFN mainly consists of Strategic Marketing, Technology, Innovation (Research& Development), Market Insights, Nutritional Excellence, andCommunications. SMT leverages market and customer insights to drive strategicchoice, develop offerings and capabilities, activate the organization and drivebusiness and technology investments to achieve our business aspirations.
This Technology Application Manager resides in the technology space withinin the SMT function. And, this position enables CFN Philippines business to strengthenits commercial growth agenda on species products, services, and solutions aspart of the overall portfolio offered to our customers in different segmentsand countries. The incumbent is the face of the species technology in the countryfor the assigned specie while the role requires capabilities and leadership inspecies nutrition technology, species production and species marketing.
Technology Leadership and Strategy
Establish and manage the systems to transfer global SMT technology into the country through standards, programs and systems such as Position Paper, CNS, MAX®, Happy Pellet, etc.
Responsible for establishing and managing the right species portfolio in nutrients, additives, and AGPs based on nutrition and formulation guidelines aligned with SMT global species positions by segments in the country to ensure market leadership while meeting customer requirements in animal performance and product quality.
Establish and lead country technology to manage continuous improvement processes such as SPR (Strategic Product Review), D&C (Design & Conformance), and Opportunity Review aligned with product design specification, product portfolio and positioning to support business growth quantitively and qualitatively.
Responsible for establishing and managing innovation pipeline aligned with species strategic plans by segments through close partnership with strategic marketing team to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.
Oversee and provide guidance to direct reports on CPE(Competitors Product Evaluation), project management, planning, VOC management, issues resolution, and technology resource allocation for customer visits or meetings including on-farm visits.
Actively interact with global species technology team, other CFN businesses and groups in providing inputs around market conditions, customer needs and technology trends including leading development projects, in sharing country BMPs, in learning BMPs, and in finding any resolutions for the country.
Be a direct contact to key accounts, genetic companies, key additives suppliers and other industry key opinion leaders.
Technology Deployment and Application
Oversee and provide direct guidance with allocating proper resources indesigning trials, creating the trial protocols, analyzing data from the trialsand translating trials results into POPs.
Lead technology deployment by developing and launching new products,programs, and solutions by segments.
In collaboration with Strategic Marketing team and Commercial team,develop countryposition strategies to deliver species offerings to markets and segmentsin a consistent manner within the country.
Train and enable key stakeholders (e.g. technical services, sales) tosupport consistent deployment of the offering (products, programs, services orsolutions) at assigned species in the countryincludingon-farm visits.
Co-lead the value capture withstrategic marketing team generated by the new products, programs, andsolutions.
Development of Local TechnologyCapabilities with talent management
Develop technology talents including active monitoring of future talents in and out of thebusiness in the country
Establish andmanage development plans of team member(s) to build of a high-performancetechnology team.
Providesleadership, regular training and coaching based on Cargill LeadershipExpectations and Guiding Principles for the specie technology team (if any) orformulation team in the country.

Minimum Requi r edQualifications
Bachelor’sdegree (or equivalent experience) in animal nutrition or other related areas
7 years’ experience with expertise in species nutrition/s production, technicalservices, formulation, feed manufacturing or applicable field
Strong analytical and conceptual skills
Strong interpersonal relationship-buildingskills
Effective communication skills, both writtenand verbal
Fluent in English and at least one other Asianlanguage (i.e. Bahasa, Filipino)
Proven experience in Philippine AnimalNutrition industry.
Master’sdegree (or equivalent experience) in animal nutrition or other related areas
Strongindustry network in the country and working experience in MNCs.
Provensuccess in development, application or leadership of technology to supportbusiness growth
Demonstratedability to provide leadership, influence and collaboration in a decentralizedorganizational structure
Excellentreputation among peers in the animal nutrition/production Industry
Experienced in leading the team includingproviding coaching and developing talents
