Position Purpose & Summary

Define & implement global strategy for Innovation for Beauty, for all ingredients categories. Identify Business Development opportunities that will drive business growth with short, mid and long terms projects. And make sure they meet with growth targets. Decides on technologies to be investigated. Drives Global Innovation (NPPS) to enable incremental & disruptive innovation. Launch innovative products, concepts, services.

Principal Accountabilities

20% STRATEGY

  • Define & Implement the Go-to-Market Innovation Strategy for Beauty for all ingredient categories

30% BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

  • Identify Market / Customers / Consumer needs and trends in order to make proactive proposals of new products/services/innovation briefs

  • Supports the development of a NPSS plan

  • Create business plan, identify gaps vs growth targets and fill the gap

  • Define investments needed (CAPEX)

40% NEW PRODUCT, SERVICE, AND SOLUTION DEVELOPMENT: INNOVATION STEERING

  • Manages NPSS portfolios and ensure projects move swiftly through the pipeline.

  • Oversees alignment between current portfolio branding and communication strategies and the NPSS branding and communication plans

  • Drive the launch process following the defined Marketing Plan

  • Oversees the monitoring of business performance of new products during its launch phase (distribution, visibility, price, early experience of the consumer) while ensuring the adjustments necessary to achieve the objectives for the product.

  • Create positioning & communication tools for internal & external communication. Train sales

  • Steer external partnerships

10% RESEARCH & ANALYTICS: TRENDS & MARKET INTELLIGENCE

  • Keeps up-to-date on industry trends and market forces, and exploit them for new product/concept briefings and customer dialog

  • Monitor market activity from competition & brands

  • Evaluate market size & potential for all opportunities

Qualifications

  • University degree in Science

  • 10 years of experience in Innovation Marketing In Personal Care industry

  • Experience in team management

  • Having gained experience in complex matrix organisation (min 5 years)

  • Experience with cross-functional and multi-cultural teams

  • Very good interpersonal skills

  • Ability to effectively influence, communicate & partner with internal & external stakeholders

  • Solutions focused mind set

  • Fluency in English language

  • Master of sience

  • Double compentency in Science & Business

  • Experience in B2B2C Marketing

  • Experience in Sustainability
