Job Type: Full Time

Shift available: Rotating (12hrs shift)

Compensation: $27.79/hr

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Must be trained in relief operation of west and south operator when needed

  • Helping the operator keeping steady and good product going to plant

  • Help the operator in the process of grain storage

  • Trained on all grain dryers

  • To work with East operator and help in the running of the east elevator when needed

  • Help in preventing elevator problems

  • Perform the unloading of trucks and rail cars

  • Perform small maintenance jobs when needed

  • Perform grain sampling and testing of the beans when needed

  • Help in weekly greasing on equipment

  • Assist operations and quality assurance in the performance of tasks

  • Participate in all quality, safety, and health programs and understanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulations

  • Maintaining a safe and clean work environment

  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer

  • Cargill requires employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility

  • Able to perform physical job duties such as bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation

  • Able to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)

  • Able to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent

  • Experience using a computer

  • Able to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance notice

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience operating mobile equipment such as forklift

  • Experience working in a production or plant environment
