Description

As the Maintenance and Reliability Team Leader you manage a team of approximately 7 maintenance technicians, by providing leadership, technical knowledge and support, and maintenance experience to them. You are also responsible for the maintenance of 5 manufacturing lines for liquid chocolate and 2 lines for solid chocolate products in the plant and anticipate the organization of intervention.

Major Tasks

  • You anticipate availability of the spare parts and the organisation in advance for the coming task

  • You implement and adapt the daily schedule of maintenance put together with the planning unit;

  • You analyse the deviances and implement an action plan;

  • You ensure the application of the factory’s technical standards;

  • You ensure the proper management of maintenance costs by transmitting cost estimates to the purchasing manager and informing him/her of the acceptance of the interventions;

  • You propose technical or organizational improvements and participate and initiate change management procedures;

  • You identify external contractors who are competent and competitive in terms of quality and cost;

  • You define the development plans to foster the continual skill improvement of your team;

  • You provide training to your team on the evolution of maintenance practices/job plans;

  • You work in collaboration with the reliability engineer on continuous improvement;

  • You work in collaboration with the warehouse employees for the optimization of the spare parts stock;

  • You provide feedback to the automation engineer on the necessity of software modifications;

  • You fully understand the functioning of utilities and, in collaboration with utilities subcontractors, handle issues and any necessary improvements;

  • You implement regulatory requirements as well as best practices defined by the Business Unit;

  • You deploy the means, the resources and the operating modes necessary to respond to the issues and to efficiently and effectively rectify unplanned equipment failures.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Electromechanical Engineer or proven capability to work at this level (Additional years of industrial processing and engineering, to compensate lower degree of Engineering education)

  • Minimum 5 years of experience leading a Maintenance and Reliability team, preferably in the food industry

  • Excellent technical qualifications: mechanics, electrical engineering, technical and administrative software.

  • Knowledge of principles of reliability

  • Experience in continuous improvement projects

  • Experience with CMMS ( SAP PPM or Maximo or similar)

  • A firm and solution-oriented attitude, with continued focus on efficiency and cost control is essential.

  • Good leadership skills and good management experience of technical team

  • Тeam player and good communicator

  • Structured with strong skills in planning and organizing.

  • Capable of making good decisions even under stressful circumstances

  • Ability to work in a matrix organization

  • Native French speaker good knowledge of English
