The Sales Leader, Food, is responsible for leading the CSST Russia Food sales team in implementing the commercial strategy in the food categories to achieve established respective sales goals/objectives for CSST business in Russia. Integral to the role will be leadership in deployment of a comprehensive strategic selling process including, but not limited to, key account management, relationship strategies, account planning, business development activities, NPSS generation, sales budgeting and demand planning, sales team management, engagement and development. The Sales Leader will in addition assume direct account responsibilities for selected key accounts.


Manage the the Food sales team and process, including: sales budgeting (volumes), customer targeting, discovering unmet customer needs, oversee new business negotiating and contract management, complaint resolution, customer credit and payment performance management; collaboration with key functions (e.g. customer service, supply chain, QC/FSQR, operations).

Provide leadership to Food sales team members including coaching, development planning, general talent management, assigning specific tasks and objectives, performance reviews, sales team meetings and events, targeted training, recruiting, and daily management. Lead weekly sales team meetings.

Develop, implement and maintain a strategic selling process in support of our commercial strategy. Develop effective customer targeting and account planning techniques, incl. account plans (CDPs), implement measurements to monitor team performance and drive continuous cycles of improvement.

Lead the Delivery Office commercial workstream.

Support the Demand manager in the demand planning cycle within the IBP process, providing sales forecasts supported by current/forward market evaluation (including scenario planning) and establishing ongoing monitoring of actual to forecast performance, identying key causes for variation and potential actions to mitigate/correct.

Ensure proper market intelligence gathering to support: a. on-going saes activities, incl. data inputs for the pricing strategy for the Pricing Manager; b. sales and business strategy formulation, incl. data on customer/market trends, competitive projects and industry news/regulations for the Marketing Manager. Initiate and support new projects.


University degree (preferably business or economics).

Fluent Russian, written and oral.

10 years experience in the food processing industry, incl. B2B.

Sales experience with Multinational accounts, Russian champions and distributor networks – international experience a definite advantage.

5 years sales team management experience.

Good written and verbal communication & presentation skills.

Stress resistant in dynamic environment.
