Job Purpose and Impact

The Trader Senior will lead the negotiations with our main strategic suppliers and customers. In this role, the trader will be responsible for the trading strategy and origination of vegetable oils, generate income to the company and control risks by performing complex trading work, with high risk tolerance.

Key Accountabilities

  • Apply a thorough comprehension of trade to execute and monitor the short/ Mid/ long term trading strategies for a specific commodity.

  • Develop and update the local SnD, generate market analysis considering local, global and macro inputs.

  • Define and execute trading strategies for both, cash and derivatives for our books, identify potential income opportunities, implement new sustainable flows and foster current suppliers & customer relationship.

  • Manage and monitor trading positions ( L&S), PnL report and risk metrics.

  • Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.

  • Work with strong collaboration with our main stakeholders ( internally and externally).

  • Support Cargill strategies and provide long-term value for Cargill.

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field

  • Minimum of four years of related work experience

  • English Advanced/Fluent

  • Other minimum qualifications may apply
