The Cargill Business Services (CBS) Process Consulltant Supervisor is responsible for leading and providing direction to Americas Process Consultants and provides general leadership and substantial knowledge for process design and implementation activities across a simplified business/service model that spans across a small subset of the organization. Leads, advises and drives decisions taking on all major process design and implementation activities. These activities include: process and solution leadership and governance, business partnering, and relationship and service management, process and solution management, analysis, and design, process and project execution and value realization, and people management.
Accountable for executing the strategy of CBS VMO in Americas for the process consultant team following the practices developed globally. Support his team to achive high quality documentation of existing processes and improvements designed, forecast expected results of process changes, analyze implemented changes and make further adjustments to workflow, schedules or other processes as required.
Demonstrates expert knowledge of process management to assist the PMO Lead in program development, education to leverage our Process Consultants across all countries.
The successful candidate will be comfortable leading diverse multifunctional teams in multiple countries. Strong influencing skills will be required for effective leadership across functions in a matrix management structure. The person in this position must need to understand the role and function of each team member to effectively coordinate team activities.
People Management: Develop and manage project managers capabilities
Responsible for people management in area of responsibility including development and engagement of process consultant team.
Manages and provides coaching to direct reports, including coaching Cargill Guiding Principle. Schedule monthly 1:1 meeting with team members to review status project deliverables.
Ensure goals setting and performance review for process consultat team in the year
Responsible for developing strong leaders and a more diverse workforce by seeking multiple approaches to source/attract diverse talent. Incorporates diversity in succession planning and job fulfilment.
Recognize and celebrate Success.
Business Results: Ensure projects are conducted in accordance with the appropriate methodology and reported accordingly
Monitoring for results and execution against work plans.
Accountable for successful completion of all projects deliverables and closure of all aspects of the projects with the appropriate application our PMO methodology, standards, and procedures.
Accountable for providing a routine status of the process consultant performance, actively communicating issues and threats, and ensuring that leadership alignment is a priority.
Project Leadership: Project Leadership to identify, recommend and implement process consultant best practices across the region.
Provides mentorship, coaching and development for team members and functional leads as appropriate.
Identifies, recommends and implements process consultant best practices across the team and collaborating with the CBS PMO team.
Leads periodic reviews utilizing expert knowledge of Cargill Practices.
Process Consultant Liaison: - Understand and apply in day-to-day projects our VMO practices and guidelines.
Leads Process Consultant Supervision in Americas following VMO Practices.
Identify appropriate resources for different requests.
Ongoing communication of project deliverables and progress with PMO Leads, VMO practices Functions and Operations.Process Consultant Best Practices: Document potential improvements and best practices for project managers
Capture lessons learned.
Communicate those within the PMO and across all the regions
Minimum 5 years of experience of process design / consultancy experience
Hands on experience of process mapping using ARIS process modeler.
Proven ability in drive process discipline and process orientation in a large and complex environment
Proven ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
Experience leading multifunctional teams
Demonstrated success working independently in a remote, global environment
Fundamental training in Project Management
Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity and establish process and structure
Fluent in English
Manage transformational / improvement projects.
Other requirements: Travel 20%
Certified Process Consultant
Green Belt / Black Belt Six Sigma is a plus
Advanced degree (Masters, MBA, or PhD)
Experience leading successful shared service migration projects
Strong leadership capabilities with experience in building effective teams of domain experts and professionals.
Experience in influencing and managing cross-functional teams with indirect reporting lines.
Strong financial knowledge and practical business acumen.
Track record of positively and effectively leading people through change
Portuguese and Spanish is a plus
