Position Purpose & Summary

  • This position is responsible primarily on to monitor and support to execute sales for the geography area assigned to the position.

  • Support when necessary, to prepare accurate shipping documents to customers

  • Monitor and supervise customer requirements and complaints.

  • Have high awareness on Guiding Principles and risk management area to ensure full compliance.

Principal Accountabilities

70% - Commercial and Customer Service:

  • Provide quotation/price indication to customer using Quotolate, to support Sales/Account Managers.

  • Contract and AR monitoring, communicate with customers directly.

  • Refer to contract aging and shipment schedule frequently.

  • Coordinate customer complaint with relevant parties.

20% - Operational :

  • Monitor shipment execution for the Business Unit, supply chain co-ordination with internal and external parties. Including accurate and on time shipping documents and relevant measurement tools, applied in the Business Unit.

  • Coordinate with production plant in Indonesia. Exposure to production planning and issues surrounding it.

  • Innovation and cost savings.

  • Always challenge status quo to work on process improvement.

  • Critical thinking and problem solving experience, related to container and tanker movement.

  • Maintain accurate reporting for BU related activities.

5% - Compliance and risk management :

  • Ensure process and procedures complys to Guiding Principles, ISO Policies, laws and relevant regulations.

5% - Others :

  • Duties as and when required by the HOD.

Qualifications

Education, Experience, Skills

Required Qualifications

  • 2 year post-secondary education or equivalent experience

  • 3 - 5 years experience in customer service or sales support (Preferred)

  • Customer service : Prepare quotations, discuss directly with customers on commercial matters.

  • Able to work remotely with Sales Managers and customers.

  • Good understanding of supply chain functions.

  • Liaison with internal and external parties, when required.

  • Champion process improvement, innovations and cost savings.

  • Able to lead on problem solving, with minimal supervision. Good at prioritizing.

  • Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines.

Skills

  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with customers directly.

  • Ability to communicate with multiple parties (multitasker)

  • System (Microsoft, cts,wb, sap others)

  • Attention to details

  • Good Management

  • Reporting skills

  • Deadline oriented

  • Outstanding oral and written skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 2-3 years prior experience in customer service / Sales Support
