Job Purpose and Impact
The Wharf Supervisor will oversee all port management and operational including service maintenance planning. Responsible for budget implementation, cost control and ensuring all employees working according to Standard Operating Procedure. In this role, the wharf supervisor will be responsible to ensuring all activity , safety regulation and environment regulation implementation
Key Accountabilities
Plan, organize and control the operations and work activities of the team.
Organize and supervise the unloading product from mill using pumps
Follow established procedures to analyze transportation and distribution systems and procedures to ensure efficient and economical delivery.
Help with regulatory safety and compliance areas, including driver and operator orientation, compliance reports, equipment maintenance and records and safety training.
Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
Closely monitor daily performance metrics using technology and tools to ensure quality service and timely actions.
Drive continuous improvement efforts for internal processes to standardize, simplify and automate the tasks needed to enhance the customer experience.
Partner with teams to define opportunities, needs, roles and responsibilities, work schedules teams dedicated to grow the business.
Monitoring service maintenance of heavy equipment, mobile power equipment and machinery

Qualifications
Minimum Requi r ed Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Minimum 2 year of directly related work experience
Other minimum qualifications may apply
Preferred Requi r ed Qualifications
Two years of supervisory experience
Experience in port operational
