This position will have among other responsibilities:
Purchase Orders Processing.
Follows up and ensures daily execution on ingredients procurement. Resolves issues with suppliers and supply chain, such as: Rejections, Quality Claims, Accounts Payable, Delayed deliveries.
Manages Metrics and Balance Socrecards to evaluate suppliers and internal processes (Quality, Quantity, Delivery, Procurement OTIF, etc)
60% PROCUREMENT EXECUTION
§Purchase Order Processing. (create, modifyand/or cancel orders when necessary according to Cargill’s policies)
§Follow up on generated purchase orders and getthem signed.
§Ensures daily execution in coordinationbetween Supply Chain, Merchandising and Supplier.
§Reviews contractbalances regularly, and collaborates with merchant team to decide on closure oroverrun to reduce/enhance risk positions.
§Assists in resolving issues, answeringquestions and sending documents to routine internal contacts related topurchase orders, contracts, quality claims, insurance claims, contractrequirements, rejected products, and/or any other questions/concerns.
§Follows up on new contracts with suppliers inreference to quality, quantity, origin, delivery period and schedule, paymentsterms, etc..
§Follow up on accounts payable for assignedingredients / suppliers and/or location and reduce open accounts to 0.
20% SOURCING / STRATEGY DEVELOPMENT
§Under guidance, works with suppliers on adaily basis to negotiate price, delivery, qtty, quality, etc..
§Under supervision, seek out, identify, develop and implementshort term stratregies/game plans bygenerating ideas and collaborating with different people within theorganization (SC, finance, sales, pricing, formulation, etc..).
20% REPORTING AND METRICS
§Prepare basic summary reports such as but notlimited to purchase orders, accounts payable, etc.. in order to inform sourcingteam members.
Monitorsprocurement related metrics, such as Supplier performance, internal procurementperformance (OTIF, etc)
§Administration Bachelor’s degree
§Minimum 2 year of professional experience in procurement, logistics,supply chain, trade execution/customer service.
§Excellent customer service skills.
§Strong analytical, organizational and planning skills
§Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail;able to prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
§Ability to work independently and also within team environment.
§Self-motivated, results oriented with focus on execution.
§Demonstrated ability to adapt and learn in a fast-paced and changingwork environment.
§Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both written andverbal, within multiple levels of the organization.
§Demonstrated computer experience (Microsoft Suite: Excel, Word, Outlookand PPT proficiency is a must)
§English – bilingual (both verbal and written profficency)
P r efer r ed Qualifications
§Preferably in Business Administration or Supply Chain related
§Preferably Food industry knowledge
§NIS, JDE and SAP knowledge.
