Position Purpose & Summary

This position leads the day-to-day Integrated production planning and supply chain activities across Dilovasi plant. This position leads, advises and makes decisions on all major supply chain planning activities with a short-term outlook and low impact on working capital. These activities include: supply chain planning operations, process development, planning & execution, customer & client interaction / business partnership, systems / data management & reporting, and people, talent & budget management.

Principal Accountabilities


  • Provides general oversight and integration of multiple areas in the Cargill supply chain such as customer service, supply chain planning, strategic sourcing/procurement, plant operations, and transportation & logistics (i.e. order, plan, source, make and deliver).

  • Leads on improvement of supply chain planning practices and procedures.

  • Using comprehensive knowledge and full experience, identify areas of improvement and cost management deficiencies in order to create efficient supply chain planning techniques and tools/systems. This position forecasts channel capacity to maximize productivity.

  • Monitors and analyzes measures to improve on customer reliability and service level agreements, as well as action plans to improve on customer service for a small, single site team.

  • Arranges and executes process to ensure all customer requirements are identified, communicated and documented. Maintains relationships with plant operations to ensure adequate inventory is available, and customer requirements are within operational capabilities.


  • Oversees, provides general leadership in plant logistics operations (i.e. inbound goods receipt, outbound goods dispatch, warehousing and storage of raw materials and finished goods, weighbridge operations).

  • Monitors the team performance and efficiency on the ground

  • Cooperates with Plant management on workflow design and improvement, guides the team on debottlenecking

  • Sponsors the physical conditions and quality improvements of the plant warehouses, loading and unloading facilities and weighbridges.

  • Works with logistics development on improving the goods flow in and out of the factory.

  • Applies a complete understanding of supply chain practices and procedures to develop and implement the tactical S&OP demand/capacity outlook based on various input sources (e.g. sales orders, forecast, contract position, inventory available, and direct input from sales/demand teams). Assembles this demand/capacity plan, and communicates with the sales organization, plant operations, and/or the supply chain leadership team.


  • Monitors and manages capacity of inventory in relation to demand of customer orders and/or forecasts. When needed, modify the original forecast and share with the team.

  • Calculates and sets stock levels and monitors inventory health along with managing the shelf life of the products and raw materials. Coordinates and executes all forecasting processes. Evaluates processes, and partners with stakeholders to explain and refine it. Activities include:

  • Production planning according to the sales forecast supplied

  • Scheduling this production planning by taking into account the other production units.

  • Reporting daily production numbers and plans,

  • To distribute BOM for the each scheduled SKU.

  • To define raw materials to be used and to order them from external warehouse.

  • To share the weekly and monthly KPI’s with the supply chain team.

  • To make stock management for the unit products based on FIFO/FEFO.

  • To make stock health management for the finished goods and the raw materials both at internal and external warehouses.

  • To follow up the rework products and consume them effectively.

  • To cooperate and provide needed information to logistic unit for export operations.

  • To ensure and confirm labels for new products and for new destinations are created according to custom legislations.


  • Provides support to Product Line Managers, Customer Service, procurement and etc. on the impacts of their supply chain plan. This includes all aspects regarding costs, impact on capacity, logistics, and order release.

  • Collaborates with peers in other BUs and COE.

  • Actively participates in and contributes to OR leads cross-functional teams to design, evaluate, recommend and implement common work processes, and improvement projects.

  • Take necessary actions for customer requests, complaints and samples.


  • Responsible for developing and implementing tools/systems and relationships that supports accurate capacity planning

  • Develops, maintains and utilizes complex supply chain optimization and scenario management models to help analyze capacity and demand forecasts with medium-high impact on working capital. Reports results to supply chain and operations teams for strategic planning purposes.

  • Tracks and analyzes KPIs (key performance indicators) for the product line.


  • Accountable for direct performance management, talent development, succession planning and engagement.

  • Manages and provides coaching and/or training to team, including coaching Cargill core values, personal safety, environmental stewardship, community involvement and development of specific competencies/skills.

  • Responsible for budgeting duties within area of scope (forecasting, reporting P&L, etc.).


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial or Chemical Engineering

  • Three (3) years of supply/production planning experience in a manufacturing-based environment

  • Troubleshooting, decision making and problem-solving skills

  • Demonstrated strong leadership skills

  • Demonstrated skills of team building, conflict resolution, innovation and change management

  • Demonstrated technical ability with solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

  • Strong communication, organization and time management skills

  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office and ERP tools

  • Customer solutions approach

  • General knowledge of production management with ability to develop understanding of plant processes and operational needs

  • High levels of organization, communication and documentation skills required to be successful

  • Demonstrated leadership skills and experience

  • Proficient in English

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Master’s degree

  • Five (5) years of operational experience chemical, specialty chemical manufacturing, food process manufacturing or refined oils industry

  • Oleochemical, oil refining and/or specialty chemical operations management experience

  • Process Safety Management (PSM)

  • Working ERP experience (Logo Tiger, etc.)

  • Demonstrated project controls skills, including scope and budget managements as well as schedule development and execution

  • Working knowledge of accounting system with ability to enter requisitions, jobs and work orders

  • Ability to function in a team environment

  • Prior experience with continuous improvement activities and methodologies (i.e. Six Sigma, Root Cause Analysis, etc.
