Job Purpose and Impact
The Accountant will establish and maintain accounting policies, fiscal controls and prepare financial reports and safeguard our organization's assets. We seek a professional with basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices. In this role, you will help build accurate standard financial statements that comply with established requirements and policies.
Maintain accounting and financial records and reports.
Communicate with the Japan Accounting Team and the USA Commercial Team.
Perform basic accounting duties.
Review and create standard accounting report packages.
Contribute to new setup and changes in existing financial applications to optimize effectiveness.
Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Minimum two years of related work experience
Experience with email, spreadsheet, word processing and presentation applications
Ability and willingness to work overtime if needed by the business to connect with the Japan Accounting Team
Experience working with multiple time zones
Previous work experience working with a Japanese company
Great Planes Experience
Japanese (written and oral)
