Job Purpose and Impact

The SAP Analyst will be very knowledgeable in a specific application or system and use knowledge of applications or systems and general understanding of business processes and company direction to advise in the definition processes, and facilitate the knowledge advancement of end users to enable more efficient performance using the application or system. In this role, you will provide assistance to user level staff and resolve problems to provide functional and process support, facilitate necessary system training, monitor metrics and drive stabilization and ongoing process improvement. You will have frequent internal company and external contacts.

Key Accountabilities

  • Provide assistance to process improvement and optimization efforts tied to processes and technology using SAP applications.

  • Provide assistance to achieve operations targets, basic application or system enhancements and collaborate with local information systems personnel to develop and implement applications or systems.

  • Assist in the implementation of change readiness plans, training and communication strategies and communicate announcements, updates and major issues to impacted end users and other applicable stakeholders.

  • Use knowledge of the function or area of expertise to suggest improvements to business cases for process and systems improvement projects to meet future state goals and identify business benefits that drive value for local departments.

  • Identify and anticipate issues and updates, accomplishing tasks by checking and solving problems of limited complexity that are not immediately obvious in existing systems or processes.

  • Handle complex clerical, administrative, technical or customer support issues under minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Secondary education level or equivalent

• Knowledgeable in the functional capabilities of SAP

• Confirmed work related experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledgeable of principles, processes. theories, concepts and analysis in one job area in a local department

• Experience playing a key role in a change initiative
