Cargill Production Worker - Melting in Hazleton, Pennsylvania
This Full time position is located in Hazleton, PA; however please expect receiving calls from a 952 area code in case you are considered. Relocation assistance is not provided.
Communicate with the refining department for when a work order is ready to be dumped.
Pull pallets of dry materials from the staging area and flow-through racking using a sit-down forklift.
Read SAP pick list and verify materials have been properly staged.
Cut and empty 50 lb bags of dry ingredients.
Hang and open super sacks of dry ingredients.
Cut, open, dump, and melt 50 lb blocks of solid liquor and butter.
Verify all materials on the pick list have been dumped for a work order.
Complete material verification and shift exchange paperwork completely and accurately.
Use automation program to verify temperatures and humidity, initiate transfers, open/close valves, start/stop equipment, etc.
Complete and document weekly master sanitation and housekeeping activities.
Complete filter, screen, and magnet changes and document.
Salary offer $16.69, per hour with $0.60 differential for night shift

Cargill requires employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility.
Must be able to read/write English.
High School diploma or Equivalent.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting safely, with or without a reasonable accommodation
Must be able to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions with the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc.
Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above).
Must be able to operate machinery.
Ability to work overtime, weekends and holidays with advance notice
Experience with Inventory Systems
Working knowledge of Microsoft office software, with an emphasis on Excel and Word
Prior experience in production related work.
