Position Purpose &Summary:

The responsibilities of this position is toensure the efficiency in Export-Import of commodities from all the major &minor seaports and across the world. This role requires the individual to leadand coordinate Export- Import Documentation (Containers & Bulk) ShippingLines, Customs & Other Govt bodies, operations processes, Food Safetystandard, Customer service and quality management. Achieving operationsefficiency to the highest possible standard and meeting the company'sexpectations

Principal Accountabilities:

PeopleManagement AND Stake Holder Management

  • Ensure that the end to end Trade Execution floware executed flawlessly, involving contracts management, plan, execution andfinalization the shipment. The operational lapses are minimized/ managed.

  • Working closely with internal and External Stakeholders(trading, tax, law, credit, projects team, etc) , ensure that execution risksare identified in advance and look at possible solutions

  • Ensure that lessons learnt isinstitutionalized. Operational lapses are recorded to foster lessons learnt.

  • Working on the continuous increment inproductivity, partnership with stakeholder to increase in productivity.(ie, NewFlow establishment,Workforce plan cover BIA , Teams Training for Fullunderstanding of INCO TERMS and Shipping Operation in the GLOBAL ops)

  • TE’ KRA is set and communicated and Each TE isclear on their expectation on the KRAs

  • To explore Team’s potentials and to work with ontheir development and career plan which will be involved their KRAs

  • To guide and encourage the Team during the dayto day work/communication

  • Ensuring a consistent and active high performingrole of TE executive in the business priorities,ie business new tradingflow/projects, etc. Clear definition of role and expectations of TE in thedelivery of these business priorities:

  • Involvement of TE as an active member in teamfor the business priority

  • Improvement in the process for the business newtrading flow (ie, TSF open sales flow, new destination local businessactivities, etc) structure to increase the productivity


  • Maintains and develops relationships withsmall-size customers, suppliers and other business partners

  • Collaborates with trade execution teams in otherregions as necessary.

  • Follows up on new contracts with routinecustomers in reference to quality, quantity, origin, delivery period andschedule, payments, and pricing.

  • With oversight, actively works directly withtraders to ensure smooth execution

  • With frequent direction, communicates withagents on estimated time of arrival and any foreseen issues/concerns.

  • May communicate with ocean transportation tomake adjustments to the voyage of vessels


  • With frequent direction, searches foropportunities to optimize planned costs and any other cost saving opportunitiesand analyze unexpected costs to identify root causes and define action plan.

  • May conduct routine risk analysis on executionplans/contracts to provide recommendation for next steps.


Education,Experience, Skills

Required Qualifications

  • Degree in any field (preferably InInternal Busines or Export/Import Documentation)

  • Fluent in both written and spoken English

  • Computer proficiency – Analytical tools, MSOffice (word/excel/Power Point etc.),

  • Minimum 8-12 Years of exp in the Field of SupplyChain, Shipping & Documentation.

  • Position is strictly For NightShift (EST , UTC -05:00)

  • Strong communication skills/soft skills.

  • Good working attitude, positive approach.

  • Flexible and adaptive to changing conditions inthe business/markets/industry.

  • Have ability to work with the team

  • Effective decision making and problem solvingskills.

  • ICC/IRR/ISBP rules as an added advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of import and export regulations inIndia (other countries is an added advantage).

  • Knowledge regarding vessel handling anddischarge operations

  • Knowledge in grains and other Agri commodities handling/conditions

  • Knowledge in cost and warehouse management
