Cargill Product Line Manager in Gurgaon, India

Job Purpose and Impact

The Product Line Manager will develop strategy and lead all aspects of the execution of product line activities for Texturizers South Asia. In this role, you will direct a team that designs and implements a comprehensive product marketing cycle and lead a team that will identify market potential, establish pricing and market strategies, estimate potential sales & margins, define promotional activities and handle product through phase out.

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead Product line Strategy for Texturizers for South Asia

  • Drive New Product Solutions and Services working closely with R&D, Marketing and Operations

  • Drive Category creation plans along with R&D and Marketing

  • Responsible for Pricing and Margin Management of product line

  • Direct compiling and evaluating research on market product requirements and identify enhancements to current features and functionality.

  • Drive asset strategy related decision. Make in India Vs leveraging Global assets

  • Develop plans and deliver results in a fast-changing business or regulatory environment, while leading and developing a team of experienced professionals and supervisors, coaching and making decisions related to talent management hiring, performance and disciplinary actions. You will also collaborate with managers and supervisors in your organization to ensure staff selections align with current and future needs.

  • Plan, organize and coordinate assigned complex programs to accomplish financial and budgetary goals.

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience. Preferred Master in Food Technology

  • Minimum of 12 years of related work experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Three years of supervisory experience

KEY BEHAVIORS

  • Experience in driving Cross functional projects; Conflict Management; Ability to manage difficult conversations

  • Build strong customer relationships and deliver customer-centric solutions.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES TO BE GAINED

  • Experience developing strategy and providing leadership of product line activities across the entire product line portfolio.
