Job Purpose and Impact

The Brand Manager will create a strong brand amongst consumer, uncover useful consumer insights to deliver effective marketing campaigns & strategies to grow market share and brand equity in the Health & Wellness Segment. In this role, you will help coordinate market plan and launch programs to create demand and maximize sales of a specific product, product line or product area.

Key Accountabilities

  • In collaboration with our account managers, execute customer analysis for individual or groups of customers using marketing tools.

  • Own the brand and the consumer. Leverage consumer thinking to deliver today & the build future

  • Owning elements defining the brand - name, logo, packaging etc. as per consumer needs

  • Defining communication strategy based on consumer’s triggers and barriers. Partnering with agency to oversee production of TV, print and digital campaigns

  • Defining and executing the media strategy. Partner with media agencies (traditional and digital) to define objectives and ensure timely and effective executions of the same.

  • Interact with leadership to understand requirements from the brand to define brand strategy.

  • Translate brand strategy into business plans, go-to-market strategies and marketing activity calendar

  • Work with the trade marketing to co-ordinate trade activities, in-store executions, on ecommerce to bring to life the brand in market and online. Engage with the sales & supply team to ensure delivery of fiscal goals.

  • Work with Multi-functional teams (product, regulatory and license) for ideation on new products and to ensure timely execution of projects.

  • Measure and report performance of marketing campaigns against goals (ROI and KPIs).

  • Regularly visit markets and distributor partners

  • Monitor in-market performance, trends & competitors’ activities to identify opportunities &key issues.

  • Critical to meet consumers regularly to crystallize insights and learning to translate to biz opportunity.

  • Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience

  • Minimum of four years of related work experience

  • Other minimum qualifications may apply

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA from top business school in related field

  • Health and wellness experience will be an advantage.

  • Experience in digital marketing and ecommerce.

  • Strong background in managing a consumer goods brand
