Job Purpose and Impact

The Shutdown Planner & Coordinator has a strong passion for technical work, take safety and risk management seriously and are team players. When things go wrong, it’s the shutdown leader responsibility to get the program back on track. You are naturally resilient and can handle pressure well. The shutdown lead will plan and coordinate basic routine maintenance for annual maintenance stops on our plant assets and equipment following established program guidelines. You will be responsible for bringing stakeholders from different departments together to develop a shutdown scope, prepare this scope for execution, budget responsible for shutdown, and have full coordination during the execution phase of the shutdown. You always strive for continuous improvement on used methods and way of working. You will provide general knowledge of consistent maintenance and reliability best practices in the completion of planning and prioritizing basic tasks and providing quality work that supports organizational goals.

Key Accountabilities

  • Research and compile information and feedback necessary to generate highly effective shutdown execution.

  • Initiate the procurement of materials, service and equipment's required during shutdowns.

  • Responsible for timely execution and budget conformity of shutdowns.

  • Prepare detailed job plans as required on shutdown activities and partner with more team members to identify opportunities to improve reliability and reduce lost production.

  • coordination of shutdown during execution phase.

  • Plan the execution of inspection, repair procedures and tasks to ensure compliance with the fundamental plant maintenance procedures and practices.

  • Review all completed work orders for completeness and accuracy and update the machinery history data in the tracking system as required.

  • Provide reports to keep the maintenance leaders informed of work progress and future work schedules.

  • Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

  • Give feedback on improvements that can be made in the process to increase shutdown efficiency

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience

  • Other minimum qualifications may apply

Prefered Qualifications

  • A professional level of Dutch is mandatory

  • Good planning skills related to shutdowns

  • Strong communicator with internal and external stakeholders and subcontractors and the ability to lead teams during execution
