Description

  • This position will be responsible in specific area in the farm compliance to the RA standard in order to maintain the certified status of the Group Administrator and Farm.

  • The farm inspector/trainer will ensure target certified copra per month is achieved by close follow up and monitoring of farmers.

  • Complete training of Sustainable Agriculture Standard (SAN) and its corresponding principles, plans, and procedures to member farms.

  • Complete training documentation and monitoring of training effectiveness.

  • Conducts farm training on risk assessment, chain of custody, farm management, continuous improvement, etc.

  • Provide baseline evaluation of the member farm based on the selection criteria set by the Group Administrator

  • Complete the annual assessment (Internal Audit) of the farm/farmer based on the principles of the SAN standard.

  • Recommends corrective actions for findings citedin Internal and External Inspection as well as farm visits

  • Share the monitoring results to the GroupAdministrator for corresponding action.

  • Verify the closure of the corrective actionsfrom the audits and inspections.

  • Conducts farm inspections and volume estimatesof nuts due for harvesting and delivery to Cargill compliant to the Chain ofCustody (Traceability) procedures established by the Internal ManagementSystem.

  • Maintain or overcome the copra volume deliveredper month, in support of the desired volume of certified crude coconut oil.

  • Manage collaboration with member farms tosustain certification membership.

  • Manage documentations and compliance of CoC(single farm, family farm, consolidator farms, and farm baseline data.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • BS in Agriculture, BS in AgriculturalEngineering, BS in Agronomy or other related fields

  • Worked with farmers or farmer’s groups or in anyrelated project concerning farm activities

  • Training delivery skills

  • Knowledge in SAN standards

  • Good communication skills

  • Ability to do farm business case

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of experience
