This full time position is located in Fullerton, CA; however please expect receiving calls from a 952 number in case you are considered. Relocation assistance is not provided.

The purpose of this position is to assist the Lead Operator in assuring the lines are operating efficiently. The Relief Operator must have an intimate knowledge of the entire packaging process. The Relief Operator will normally fill in for operators and leads when they are on vacations/leave/lunch breaks as needed.
Responsible for the entire packaging process while following all GMP’s, food safety and quality policies and procedures.
Relieve Packaging Operators and Packaging Shift Lead who are on vacation, at lunch or meetings.
Assists Lead by assures all machinery is functioning correctly, including inspection of all Quality Control focus areas, materials, products and containers at each step of the packaging process.
Ensures the Tote/Drum Line equipment and supplies are ready.
Ensures the hold area is being maintained appropriately.
Cleans work areas, machines, tools, and equipment.
Fills supplies as needed.
Completes various paperwork and any other duties as assigned by supervisor.

High School diploma or Equivalent
Must be able to read/write English
Basic computer skills
Must be able to perform physical job duties including bending/stooping, climbing ladders, open/close valves, shoveling and pounding with hammer.
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
Must be able to work under special work conditions, such as extreme heat or cold.
Ability to work in elevated areas
Must be able to operate machinery
Ability to work overtime
Ability to work on holidays, nights, weekends or different shifts.
At least 6 months of experience in production related work
Able to operate heavy equipment
