Cargill Protein has a diverse 28,000-member team and operates approximately 60 protein primary and further processing facilities, distribution centers, feed mills, hatcheries, and an innovation center in the U.S. and Canada, in addition to maintaining international sales offices. We have an exciting opportunity in our Dodge City, KS facility for an Operations Supervisor.
This position will be responsible for leading hourly team members to attain production and quality goals while ensuring the safest working environment possible. This position is accountable for daily operations of the department and creating an engaged and team-oriented workforce to obtain business results.
A high performer in this position will identify problems or bottlenecks in production processes and resolve issues; ensure production resources (including materials, equipment, staffing) are available as needed to maintain product schedules; support continuous improvement goals in safety, quality, efficiency, yield.
This is a 2nd Shift position in our Fabrication department of the Dodge City, KS plant.

High school diploma or GED
2 years of manufacturing operations work experience
Positive attitude and problem-solving mentality
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Basic computer literacy – Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
Work with Ground beef experience
Previous experience in a food or meat processing plant
Bilingual in English/Spanish
