Part of Cargill’s global agricultural supply chain group, Cargill AgHorizons serves customers with a 1,500-member team at more than 100 grain elevators and service centers across the United States.
This position is responsible for maintaining optimum asset health for all plant equipment, systems, and structures by
performing inspections, repairs and modifications to equipment and structures of feed facility.
Perform maintenance work in area of expertise.
Perform routine plant maintenance.
Perform preventative maintenance.
Maintain maintenance records and assist in plant production as needed.
Safety - responsible for safety of themselves and teammates.
Wear respirator and required safety equipment.

Cargill requires employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Must be able to read/write English.
Basic computer skills.
Must be able to perform physical job duties including bending/stooping, climbing ladders, open/close valves, shoveling, pounding with hammer and work in confined spaces.
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
Ability to work under special work conditions, such as extreme heat or cold.
Ability to work in elevated areas.
Must be able to operate machinery.
Ability to work overtime.
Must be able to work holidays, nights, weekends or different shifts.
Prior experience in production related work
Able to operate heavy equipment.
Able to perform maintenance trades including welding, pipe fitting, and fabrication, rigging systems, gearbox and bearing, maintenance, lubrication, pumps and piping systems, mechanical maintenance and hydraulic and pneumatic.
