Shift Available: 2nd shift

Compensation: $26.76/hr., plus shift differential

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Operate all equipment that is associated with the Flake/Granular flake line and troubleshoot minor problems as required

  • Gather samples as required and conduct analytical testing associated with assigned processes

  • Accountable for creating, issuing, and completing quality documentation, line checks, and production paperwork and record any required information into SAP/MII

  • Coordinating the schedule of production and daily maintenance tasks

  • Conduct or assist with PJHAs, permits, and permits and Lock Out-Tag Out (LO/TO) operations

  • Work with FSQR to request and interpret COAs

  • Able to troubleshoot, train, maintain packaging equipment

  • Understanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulations

  • Maintaining a safe and clean work environment

  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer

  • Cargill requires employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility

  • Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)

  • Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting safely, with or without a reasonable accommodation

  • Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

  • Basic computer skills

  • Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance notice

  • Ability to operate machinery and/or industrial equipment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in production-related work

  • High school diploma/GED or a minimum of two years equivalent work experience

  • Experience with SAP or a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)

  • Experience with inventory systems

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software, with an emphasis on Excel and Word
